00:21 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. believes that New Clark City has a great potential in Pampanga
00:29 as an alternative investment hub in the country.
00:32 The President said this along with the inspection of the airport, New Clark City, Access Road, or ANAR.
00:38 According to the President, the infrastructure will be provided to strengthen Clark as an investment and tourist destination.
00:45 He also confirmed this to show potential investors that the government is committed to building world-class infrastructure
00:52 that can be a place for business.
00:56 This road is much more than just an access road.
00:59 It is part of our plan to propel Clark as an alternate growth area.
01:04 It is a red carpet rolled out to those who will partake in all the best things that Clark can offer.
01:11 It shows the path forward of building better more, so we will never lose our competitive advantage
01:17 because unlocking the full potential of Clark is a continuing task.
01:23 But aside from that, the Executive Board of the City of New Clark gave a large role to the Access Road
01:28 for the transportation of products and services.
01:31 ANAR will make the journey from other places in Clark,
01:35 even to its neighboring provinces, towards Clark City,
01:38 20 minutes from the previous one hour of free toll fees.
01:43 In short, the Clark Metropolis has what it takes to be a mecca for tourists,
01:48 a magnet of investments, and a market of goods and services.
01:52 We must leverage these attributes into higher visitor traffic,
01:57 attracting more investments that generate better jobs and spur economic activity.
02:03 President Marcos Jr. also pointed out that aside from these infrastructures,
02:08 he will also focus on strengthening other facilities to support their future investment.
02:14 This includes the modernization of Clark International Airport,
02:18 as well as the rail link under the North-South Commuter Railway Project.
02:23 The President also recognized the contribution of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, or BCDA,
02:28 to the economic agenda of the government, especially in the push for AFP modernization,
02:33 where the President said that the contribution of the BCDA
02:38 to the use of weapons and vehicles of the AFP reached P59.71 billion.
02:45 The BCDA has contributed P59.71 billion for the equipment, weaponry, vehicles, vessels,
02:53 and structures used by our armed forces.
02:56 So indeed, the BCDA has a major role to play in the Bagong Pilipinas vision
03:02 that all Filipinos are working hard to achieve.

03:14 The BCDA's contribution to the Bagong Pilipinas would also include

03:24 ANAR has a length of 19.81 kilometers and a total of 6 lanes.
03:28 It is worth P8.28 billion, and is part of the contribution of the BCDA
03:34 to the economic agenda of the current administration, especially in the Build Better More Program.
03:40 ANAR will open its doors to the public starting tomorrow,
03:44 and it is expected to be fully operational in July,
03:47 when the bike lanes, landscape, and slope protection will be completed.
