00:11 and to return home knowing that Putin had already tried to have him killed is one of
00:15 the most courageous acts of our time. Together with our allies we are considering all options
00:20 to hold Russia and Putin to account and this morning we sanctioned those running the prison
00:25 where Alexei Navalny's body still lies.
00:27 On a more sombre note, Mr Speaker, can I join with the Prime Minister, I was glad to hear
00:33 what he just had to say because I'm sure the whole House will join me in sharing our
00:39 disgust at the death of Alexei Navalny, who as the Prime Minister said died because of
00:44 his efforts to expose the corruption of the Putin regime. It is a reminder that Putin
00:50 has stolen not just the wealth but also the future and democracy of the Russian people.
