00:00 Two Bugatti Chiron Supercars are now on the way to be found by the Bureau of Customs.
00:06 Each car is worth more than Php 160 billion.
00:10 It's now being imported to the country without going through the BOC.
00:13 Watch this, Maki Pulido.
00:15 In an exclusive subdivision in Alabang,
00:21 the Bureau of Customs found this Asul Bugatti Chiron.
00:25 The expensive supercar is estimated to be worth Php 3 million or more than Php 160 billion each
00:32 before being allowed to be taxed.
00:34 This is one of the two Bugatti Chiron that the agency is looking for
00:38 because it's now being imported to the country without going through the BOC.
00:41 The first one to be found was this red Bugatti Chiron
00:44 which was also found by the registered owner.
00:47 The second owner of the Bugatti tried to escape
00:50 and told the NBI and Customs that he had sold the sports car.
00:54 But when the DLOC-CL asked for a receipt of the sale,
00:57 he volunteered to turn over the Bugatti.
01:00 The only one who turned over the Bugatti was the owner's lawyer.
01:04 The lawyer didn't say anything earlier except that they were surrendering the car.
01:10 The expensive supercar was put in a flatbed truck and brought to the Bureau of Customs.
01:15 The hearing will be held in the law division.
01:18 The registered owner will be charged.
01:21 But there are still many questions that the Bureau of Customs cannot answer.
01:24 They cannot say who let the luxury car go, how, and where it was put
01:30 and who didn't pay the right amount.
