00:04 In the southernmost region of Brazil, South Africa, the Augusta region,
00:08 suffered the worst flood in 80 years due to continuous rainstorms in the past two weeks.
00:13 At present, this flood has caused 143 deaths, 125 missing, and more than 600,000 people were displaced.
00:20 According to Reuters, the depth of this flood is almost to the position of the window of a car.
00:25 Many cities have also recorded the highest water level in 150 years.
00:29 It turns out that as the northern and central regions continue to rain, the expected disaster will continue to worsen.
00:35 The relevant authorities will also increase the emergency budget to US$2.3 billion to restore the disaster.
00:41 Brazil's South Rio Grande has been hit by heavy rain and flooding for two consecutive weeks.
00:47 From the high-altitude view, the area has become a water country.
00:50 All buildings are soaked in water, even the roads are submerged in mud.
00:55 The car was also hit by a flood, only half of the car body was exposed, causing heavy damage to the local residents.
01:02 This flood not only caused hundreds of thousands of people to be displaced,
01:06 but also many pets were trapped in the flood, water and food were cut off for several days,
01:10 and only people could be saved.
01:12 In order to avoid being submerged in the flood,
01:14 dogs could only hang themselves on the wall and wait for rescue.
01:18 The rescue workers worked hard to save the dogs,
01:21 but they couldn't help but cheer and even cry.
01:25 As the rescue operations continue, hundreds of animals have been rescued.
01:30 Although the rescue team has urgently created a shelter for the animals,
01:34 it is still not enough to accommodate all the rescued animals.
01:37 They were sheltered in an inappropriate place.
01:40 We have everything, we are supplied with many donations.
01:45 What we need now is a temporary home, a solidarity.
