00:44 They could scoot up those walls. It was incredible. And we built everything. And now you know what
00:49 they did? We had 200 miles that would have been put up. We built 571 miles of wall and we had the
00:55 safest border in history. I got Mexico to give us soldiers all of the things I did. But these people,
01:02 they took the 200 miles of wall that could have been flipped up and thrown up and they were
01:08 sitting there ready to be installed. And they sold it for five cents on the dollar.
01:13 I don't even know what the hell does anybody want that wall for, right? Maybe other countries are
01:18 buying it to use for their wall. Probably that's it for five cents of the dollar. On day one,
01:23 we will seal the border. We will stop the invasion and we will send Joe Biden's illegal
01:29 aliens back home with right where they belong, right where they belong.
01:35 They're going back home where they belong. And we start with the criminals. And there are many,
01:41 many criminals. Less than four years ago, we had the most secure border in U.S. history.
01:48 We ended catch and release, built tremendous numbers of miles of border wall like nobody
01:54 thought possible. I took it out of the military because I considered it an invasion of our
01:58 country. And I got Mexico to send twenty eight thousand soldiers to our border free of judge.

02:07 I need twenty eight thousand soldiers free of charge to guard our border.
02:12 Don't hold down a door. President. He was laughing. He thought I was kidding.
02:17 I said, no, they have to be free of charge. You'll do it. I know you'll do it. There's no
02:20 question that you're going to do it. They come through Mexico along with the drugs, which,
02:24 by the way, are now 10 times greater coming through fentanyl and coming through our border
02:30 than it was just four years ago. Ten times greater. It's even more than that, I believe.
02:36 But they're estimating at least 10 times. But I said, I need your soldiers and you'll give
02:41 them to us free of charge. He said, no, no, no, I will not do that. He thought it was so funny.
02:48 I said, do me a favor. And he's a friend of mine. He's a good guy. He's a he's a radical
02:54 socialist. And that's fine. I don't care. I don't care. But he was a good guy. I said,
02:58 do me a favor. Look, I don't like negotiating with you. It's sort of unpleasant. I want to
03:02 negotiate with your people. And I said, so do you have somebody that can negotiate a little
03:06 bit on this subject and others? And he said, yes, I will send Jose whoever to see.
03:14 And a few days later, a man comes into Washington. He had the most beautiful
03:21 clothing I've ever seen. I'm telling you, he was wearing suits. In fact,
03:25 other than it probably would sound bad for the negotiation. I wanted to ask him,
03:29 who is your tailor? But I didn't think that was a good way to start off the negotiation.
03:36 And I said to him, I want to do this. I went to the Border Patrol and ICE,
03:43 who are phenomenal people. And I went to everybody has anything to do with the border and our country
03:48 and safety and immigration. I said, give me a top 10 list. I want everything. I want everything.
03:53 I'll get it all. Sir, you won't get any of this stuff. We've been trying to get it for 30 years
03:57 from Mexico. I said, that's OK. One hundred percent. I'll get it. Anyway, they gave us
04:02 stay in Mexico policy. In other words, people have to stay in Mexico. They don't come into
04:06 our country. They stay in Mexico. And they gave us catch and release into Mexico,
04:12 not catch and release into our country. They gave us many things, various illness
04:17 situation where people that are ill with contagious diseases. Right, Dr. Ronnie?
04:22 They pour into our country like it's like, let's just accept everybody and let's spread illness
04:27 all over our country. So we had that taken care of. We had everything we had 10. So the guy comes
04:33 in from Mexico and I say, here's what I want. I want twenty eight thousand soldiers free of charge.
04:40 I want remain in Mexico. I want catch and release into Mexico. They never heard of this.
04:46 And he's like, ha ha ha. He's going to press if we won't do that. Why would we do this?
04:51 How we stupid? Why would we do this? I said, you're going to do it on the percent.
04:55 What? You don't think you're going to do it? Of course you're going to do it. No,
04:57 I'm not going to do it. I said, yes, you are going to do it. One hundred percent. He goes,
05:02 no way. I said, wait. I said, wait, you're going to do it. And now he's not laughing at me because
05:08 he's trying to figure what the hell's going on with this guy. He's saying no. And I'm saying yes.
05:11 I said, no, one hundred percent. You're going to do it. He said, no, I'm not. And I said,
05:16 here's what's happening. It's Friday evening on Monday morning at seven o'clock. Every single
05:22 car that you send into our country, you know, they've stolen 32 percent of our car industry
05:26 over the years, not during my administration, by the way. But over the years, they've taken a huge
05:31 junk out of Michigan. And by the way, that's why I'm leading in Michigan, because people see what
05:36 they've done to the jobs and the cars and the the building. The manufacturing of cars is just
05:42 horrible. And Mexico has taken a tremendous amount of of that business away. I mean,
05:49 they've just building massive car plants again in Mexico. I had to stop some of the biggest plants
05:54 in the world. You know who's building a lot of them? China is building car plants in Mexico
05:59 to sell cars into the United States. And I told them the other day, don't do it because you're
06:04 going to be charged a hundred percent tariff, which makes it impossible to sell the cars into
06:10 it. And you're building these big monster plants and you're wasting a lot of money doing it because
06:15 we're not going to accept any of those cars. We're not going to lose our jobs to monster plants that
06:21 are being built along the border to sell into the United States because they have a guy like
06:26 crooked Joe Biden as president who's accepted money. He's a Manchurian candidate. He's accepted
06:32 money from China, from Russia, from Ukraine, from everywhere. If that were a Republican,
06:42 he would have been given the electric chair. They would have brought back the death penalty.
06:45 What he's gotten away most is the most crooked. He's also the most crooked president we've ever
06:51 had. And to put it to spin it a little bit, he is a threat to democracy. You know, they like to say
06:57 I'm a threat to democracy. What the hell have I done? All I've done is we had no wars except
07:03 we defeated ISIS and we defeated them brutally and quickly, quickly.
07:11 And I said that is handsome, beautiful, well-dressed man.
07:15 Now, you're going to do that because on Monday morning, we're putting a tariff of 25 percent
07:20 on everything that comes in. And then a month later, it's going to 50. And then a month later,
07:24 goes to 75. And then a month later, it goes to 100. And that's where I'm going to stop. I think
07:29 that's enough. And that's more money than the money we're asking for the twenty eight thousand
07:34 soldiers and the other things by a factor of about five. And it's going to take place on
07:39 Monday morning. And I had an order on my desk and I said, I'm signing the order right now so you can
07:44 see it. Oh, but Mr. President, may I please take five minutes to make a call back to my country?
07:50 And I said, let me guess, you're going to call the president, my friend, who is my friend. He's
07:56 a great guy, but he likes Mexico and I like us. I mean, what can I tell you? Right. That's that's
08:00 the deal. Just like President Xi. He likes China and I like the USA. That's why they paid billions
08:07 of dollars that no other president got 10 cents. So may I take a moment to make a call? Yes,
