00:00Post-election, the markets have rallied and they continue to look good.
00:05Currently, we are facing the situation where the markets have moved up and economy is looking
00:12good.
00:13Monsoons are normal and there is a lot of momentum in the economy.
00:18Now going forward, the markets are likely to move up gradually because of the sharp
00:24rally over the past two to three months.
00:27A lot of it depends upon what is in store in the budget with regards to sustained investment
00:33of the government on CAPEX and some swaps to be given to middle class or agriculture
00:40given the fact that the government is having a lot of room on the fiscal side to provide
00:47benefit to the consumption class and to the bottom end of the society.
00:51So once the demand improves and sustained CAPEX remains, the markets over a period of
00:57time should move up from the current levels.
01:01We have given a NIFTY target of 25,800 which factors in 15% CAGR in profits over the next
01:08couple of years.
01:09We continue to remain positive on sectors like banks, capital goods, discretionary consumption,
01:17cement, hospitals, etc.
01:21We believe that it is going to be a stock pickers market incrementally as the easy money
01:26in lot of stocks has already been made.
01:29We in particular are positive on names like HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank in banking, Reliance
01:35Industries as a conglomerate, in mid-caps RR Cable, stocks like say Siemens, ABB and
01:44Paraj in capital goods, ITC in the consumption space.
01:52In the IT space, we are looking at stocks like say your HCL Tech and your LTI.
02:01These two stocks look good and in the cement space, we like Ultra Tech Cement.
02:07We remain positive on hospitals and max healthcare is the top pick in the hospital space whereas
02:14on the pharma side, Sun Pharma is the stock which we like the most.
