00:00I think the concern there in the Bowman race is not just the race between two candidates
00:09with very different points of view.
00:11The real race is whether or not America retains its democratic tradition or allows big money
00:20and super tax to buy elections.
00:23It should be of concern to every American, no matter what your political point of view is.
00:28That you have organizations spending $15 million into one congressional race.
00:36So the issue that we have there is, does this become the future of American politics?
00:41Anybody who wants to run for office, who has a political position, stands up, fights for something,
00:46is suddenly going to be opposed by billionaires and their super tax who have unlimited subsidies.
00:52This should be a concern to every American, and I'm supporting Congressman Bowman.
00:56Do you have any issues with how he comported himself, calling the fire alarm?
01:00Look, I have differences with every member of the United States Congress.
01:04But again, to me, what is important is that we not allow billionaires and their super tax
01:11to be able to buy elections.
01:12If that happens, then you really don't have democracy anymore.
01:15You can run against me and if I spend 100 times more than you, I'm going to beat you.
01:18That should not be what America is about.
01:20Thanks very much.
01:21The Supreme Court ruled this morning in favor of taxing unrealized gains.
01:24Any reaction to that?
