00:00Over the last nine months, the Houthi terrorist group, Iran's terror proxy in Yemen, has launched
00:08over 200 aerial attacks against Israeli civilians and infrastructures.
00:15On Friday morning, in one of these UAV attacks, the Houthis fired an Iranian explosive UAV
00:21from Yemen into Israeli territory.
00:25The UAV hit an apartment building in the center of Tel Aviv, near the U.S. Embassy branch
00:31office in the city, killing an Israeli civilian, 50-year-old Evgeny Ferder, and injuring several
00:39others.
00:41The Houthis' attacks are acts of aggression, a violation of international law, and a threat
00:49to the international peace and security.
00:52Today, Israel stepped up its actions in self-defense against these attacks.
00:59The Israeli Air Force conducted precise strikes on Houthi military targets in Yemen.
01:06The military target was the El Hodeida port, used by the Houthis as a main supply route
01:13for the transfer of Iranian weapons from Iran to Yemen, like the UAV itself that was used
01:22in the attack on Friday morning.
01:26In the area of the port, the Israeli Air Force struck dual-use infrastructure used for terrorist
01:33activities, including energy infrastructures.
01:38Israel's necessary and proportionate strikes were carried out in order to stop the Houthi
01:43terror attacks.
01:45However, this threat goes far beyond Israel.
01:50The Houthis target other countries in the Middle East, the United States of America,
01:56and the world with their attacks on international shipping in the Red Sea, and not just the
02:03Red Sea.
02:05Who is behind the Houthis?
02:07One country, Iran.
02:10The Iranian regime funds, arms, and directs the Houthi terror activity.
02:15Israel is fighting a multi-front war against Iran's aggression proxies, Hamas in Gaza,
02:21Hezbollah in Lebanon, Iranian militias in Syria and Iraq, and the Houthis in Yemen.
02:28The International Maritime Coalition, led by United States Central Command, as well
02:33as the IDF, have stopped many of those Houthis' attacks in recent months.
02:39We see common interests for all countries attacked by Iranian-backed Houthi terrorism
02:45to stand together against this threat.
02:48Today, this was an IDF-only action.
02:53I want to repeat it.
02:54Today, this was an IDF-only action.
02:57We will continue to defend the people of Israel from all threats, near and far.
