00:00He was on Israel's most wanted list for decades, and now the IDF claims Mohamed Dieff is no
00:06more.
00:07The head of Hamas' military wing was believed to be one of the chief masterminds of the

00:25whose whereabouts are unknown.
00:27Mohamed Dieff has rarely been pictured and has often been described as a cat with nine
00:31lives due to his close calls with death.
00:34On Thursday, the Israeli army released footage of the airstrike it carried out on the 13th
00:39of July, which reportedly targeted Dieff.
00:43According to health officials, 90 people were killed in the strike, including displaced
00:47civilians living in tents.
00:51For now, Hamas has not confirmed if Dieff was killed in the July airstrike in Khan Yunis.
00:58While the latest developments in the war between Israel and Hamas can be viewed as victories
01:01for Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu, they risk inflaming regional tensions with Iran and
01:06Hezbollah in Lebanon.
01:09With the war now set to enter its 10th month next week, dozens of Israeli hostages still
01:13remain in Gaza.
