00:08seeing two main paths here.
00:12Well, the obvious one for the Ukrainian army would be to try and divert some of the Russian
00:18attention and some of the Russian troops that are stationed in the eastern part of Ukraine
00:25towards this Kursk incursion, this Kursk offensive.
00:30This would mean that this would actually help Ukraine on the Ukrainian eastern front.
00:37The second option that could be would be that in retaining the territory gained within Russian
00:46territory, knowing that Ukraine never mustered any interest in territorial conquest, just
00:53a respect of its own territorial integrity as per international law, as per acknowledged
00:59by the international community.
01:01The second option would be that by retaining this Russian territory, then Ukraine would
01:07have a bargaining chip, if you want, would have something to bargain against in order
01:14to get back its own territory.
01:16So those are the two options that we can think of here.
01:19But of course we'll have to wait and see to see if Ukraine manages to keep that territory
01:24if it so wishes and what's the endgame there.
