00:00The Philippine Federal Party is now in an alliance with the Nationalista Party.
00:05President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has ordered that the parties leading the PFP fight each other.
00:12This is what Kenneth Paciente reported.
00:17In the fourth time, the Philippine Federal Party has formed a new alliance
00:22led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
00:25The executive board witnessed the alliance signing between the PFP and the Nationalista Party.
00:30According to the President, this alliance will serve as a pathway for the government to make further progress.
00:38He also insisted that it is proven that even though the political parties have different ideologies,
00:43it is still possible for the partnership to be formed
00:46so that the strength of the people will be strengthened.
00:50We are continuing to answer the call for unity.
00:56And this is what I always explain to people.
00:58This is, of course, this is in preparation for the midterm elections.
01:04But nonetheless, it is something that we have been talking about during the presidential campaign.
01:15And that continuing call for unity remains.
01:18And that is why it is very gratifying to see that the significant,
01:25the big and influential and historical national parties of the Philippines
01:35have come to answer that call for unity.
01:38The executive board also insisted that the parties should stop fighting
01:44because it is a waste of time and resources and attention to work.
01:50We came into office and when we leave office, that we leave the Philippines a better country.
01:57And we leave the Filipinos in a better condition than we found them when we first came into office.
02:04That is the aspiration. That is the dream.
02:07And it can only be achieved through a unified effort by everyone.
02:12And there is nothing more that we can do but to continue to work for that dream.
02:17It is noteworthy that the Presidential Candidate also ran under the NPA.
02:22And he said that nothing bad happened when he left the party.
02:27I recognize the debt of the NPA.
02:29I am saying that if it wasn't for the NPA, I wouldn't have become president.
02:33That is why I have a big debt of gratitude for the NPA's help.
02:39That makes it a very natural alliance.
02:42The PFP was the first to form an alliance with the Christian Muslim Democrats,
02:46Nationalist People's Coalition and National Unity Party.
02:50But it is not only the election that we are looking at in 2025,
02:54but we are also looking at our allied political parties
02:59that we need to unite because if we unite,
03:02we will be able to achieve the minimity dream of our beloved President.
03:10This coalition of major political parties is a strong message to our people
03:15that political affiliation is subordinate to our common vision.
03:40Para sa Pambansang TV sa Bagong Pilipinas.
