00:02How have you found preparing for it?
00:04Because, obviously, five have come in and ten went.
00:07Yes, well, we've obviously been preparing.
00:10We've obviously been looking in the back line like they would be looking at us, who's coming and who's not.
00:13You know, we signed two good players yesterday, I think it was one from Chelsea and one from Leicester, respectively.
00:19So we know that they're ready-made players, they're good footballers.
00:26How fit are they? I don't know, but we'll soon see.
00:30Again, you don't know who's going to come through the door, especially with them having the parachute payments.
00:35I don't know whether the takeover's done or what, I'm not sure.
00:38I haven't looked that deep into it, but we've looked at what personnel they've got, what style of play they might play.
00:42I went and watched them against Huddersfield on Friday night, me and Peter Murphy.
00:46Do you get a rough guide of it? Do you think that's what it's going to be? Probably not.
00:51But, listen, I respect Chris Wilder immensely for what he's done in the division and he's a top, top manager.
00:55So we know whatever way it's set up, whether it's formation, whether it's personnel, we know they're going to be a tough team to break down.
01:03But we've got to make sure that we do what we feel is right.
01:05The overall feeling, excitement, determination, your third full season?
01:10Yeah, yeah, listen, for me as the manager, of course I'm excited.
01:14I come to work every day with a smile on my face and it's a privilege to manage the football club, like I've said many a times.
01:21And all me and my staff and players want to do is do our best for Preston North End football.
01:25But I feel as I've got an unbelievable boss in Peter who's backed me all the way, an unbelievable omelette in Craig Emond.
01:30So why wouldn't you want to do that?
01:32And I believe we've got, you know, our fan base is more than that itching to get where we want to get to.
01:36But it doesn't just happen overnight.
01:38We've got to stick together.
01:39We've got to believe in each other.
01:40And I believe in them, they believe in us and the players.
01:42And hopefully we can have another successful season.
