00:04A long time has passed since the Indian astronaut Sunita Williams was trapped in space.
00:09Space for just 8 days?
00:11Sunita, not the station, is trapped with her commander astronaut Boots Billmore.
00:16And this mission has now been almost 8 months.
00:20That is, it will now take 8 months to complete this entire mission.
00:24And still no detailed information about the return has not been revealed.
00:28Boeing's Starliner is delayed in their return journey due to a malfunction in the spacecraft.
00:34The Boeing Starliner that took them away, due to a problem in the mission,
00:38NASA has now denied the decision of the return of these two astronauts.
00:43Not only this, the Starliner has also returned to Earth leaving these two astronauts.
00:47Now in space, Sunita Williams and Boots Billmore have held a press conference
00:52and said that when the Starliner was going back, what was going on in their minds at that moment.
00:57In today's explainer, we will talk about this and will tell you
01:00what both the astronauts have said about the American election in their press conference.
01:05And along with this, we will tell you how long will both the astronauts return to Earth.

01:18All the passengers going to the International Space Station prepare for research and training for months.
01:24After physical and mental preparation to face such difficult training and any situation,
01:29Boots Billmore and Sunita Williams have reached the space station.
01:33Due to the technical malfunction of the Starliner,
01:36the two people stuck there are actively participating in the operation of the International Space Station.
01:42Boots Billmore and Sunita Williams are full test pilots of the US Navy,
01:46so they have a lot of technical knowledge.
01:50This is why both were selected for the first mission of the Starliner, the Crew Flight Test, i.e. CFT.
01:56Before this, Sunita of the Indian Moon, who has done space travel,
01:59is well aware of the work of the International Space Station.
02:03Before the launch of the Starliner's Crew Flight Test,
02:05Boots Billmore and Sunita Williams were told in detail about the work being done at the International Space Station.
02:13Therefore, both are fully prepared to face any situation.
02:18Astronauts Sunita Williams and Boots Billmore have been stuck in space for more than three months.
02:23On the other hand, the spacecraft in which they went to the International Space Station,
02:28has now returned to Earth without them.
02:31Meanwhile, Sunita Williams and Boots Billmore's first statement has come out.
02:36In their press conference, they said that we are looking towards the next opportunity.
02:40After the return of the spacecraft, Sunita and Billmore took part in the press conference for the first time
02:46and put their point in front of everyone.
02:48Both astronauts said that it was very sad for us to see the Boeing Starliner return to Earth without us.
02:55Billmore said that we did not want to see it go without us, but it had to happen and it had to go without us.
03:02Sunita Williams said with hope on this occasion that now we should look towards the next opportunity.
03:08When both astronauts were asked whether you are angry with Boeing and NASA because of the technical failure on the mission,
03:16they clearly refused to this.
03:18Billmore pointed to NASA's logo on Sunita's T-shirt and said,
03:23it represents the thing for which we are standing here.
03:27We move forward and we do such things that are out of the ordinary.
03:31This mission has been 8 days to 8 months.
03:34Because of which, after spending 3 months in space, both astronauts have to stay in space for another 5 months.
03:41For this, both said that we are ready for it.
03:44Billmore said that we will give our best for 8 days to 8 months.
03:48Sunita Williams is present at the International Space Station, but she said that she likes to stay on ISS and she has no problem with it.
03:58She said that it is not so difficult for her to stay on ISS because she has already spent time in space.
04:05In America, in November, votes will also be cast for the presidency.
04:08Billmore said that we have agreed to send the ballot paper and this is a very important responsibility that all of us as American citizens should fulfill.
04:17Sunita Williams said that she is very excited to vote from space.
04:21While reaching space, the starliner had to face many problems.
04:26Helium leak and thruster malfunction in the spacecraft, causing it to be difficult to return.
04:32Both astronauts will now have to stay in space until February 2025.
04:36Last month, NASA decided that Williams and Billmore will return to space via SpaceX's Crew-9 flight in February.
04:44The starliner has returned to Earth safely.
04:47In this, Billmore said that he is not at all disappointed with the decision to stay in space.
04:51That's all for today's video.
