"Mr [UN] Secretary-General, get the UNIFIL forces out of harm's way. It should be done right now, immediately," says Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. His call to UN chief Antonio Guterres comes a day after the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) repeated its refusal to withdraw from the border area after five of its members were wounded in the Israel-Hezbollah war.

00:00Mr. Secretary General, get the UNIFIL forces out of harm's way.
00:04It should be done right now, immediately."
00:06We are curbing the attack on UNIFIL soldiers, and we are doing everything we can to prevent
00:12this attack.
00:13However, the simple and demanding way to ensure this is to simply remove them from the area
00:19of danger.
00:20I want to make a direct request to the UN Secretary General.
00:23The time has come for you to remove UNIFIL from the borders of Hezbollah and from the
00:28battlefields.
00:29This attack is happening again and again, and it is happening again and again, all of
00:34which is intended to provide a human shield to Hezbollah terrorists.
00:37Your attempt to remove UNIFIL soldiers is turning them into the victims of Hezbollah.
00:42This is both endangering them and the lives of our soldiers.
