01:11The project will be divided into two phases.
01:13In February 2026, the 2,400 megawatt solar farm will be opened and 1,000 megawatts will be added in February 2027.
01:21This landmark project will put our country on the map as a leader in renewable energy.
01:28Once completed, it can generate 3,500 megawatts from its 5 billion panels.
01:34The Terra Solar project will help stabilize our power supply, reduce energy costs,
01:40and contribute significantly to our target of 35% renewable energy share in the power generation mix by the year 2030.

01:54because the power generation cost will be reduced, it is also possible for Meralco to lower its cost to its customers.
