00:00A few of our countrymen were helped by the Department of Trade and Industry
00:04to have an additional platform to sell their products.
00:08That's the center of the news of Quenzel Bocobo from IBC 13.
00:14Ms. Marita is one of the businessmen who were helped by the Department of Trade and Industry or DTI
00:20to have an additional platform to sell their products.
00:25When we first started, we had free trainings and seminars
00:32on how to run our business.
00:36If it was just us, we wouldn't be able to market our products.
00:40With the trade fairs, we were able to attract buyers.
00:46This is also the help that Kelvin received for his metal sculptures.
00:51It's my first time to be given a chance here in Manila, sir.
00:57Just now, but last year and now,
01:02I have exhibits in Baguio where DTI also helped me find an exhibit.
01:09If before, he can only be seen in Ifogao and can buy his works,
01:14he now has a customer in Metro Manila.
01:17This is the brainchild of our DTI secretary, Maria Cristina A. Roque.
01:21We at DTI, we continuously provide programs that will help our MSMEs.
01:28For instance, these trade fairs, we mount trade fairs
01:31to serve as a new and crucial marketing opportunity for them to showcase their products.
01:37These are just a few of the many micro, small, and medium enterprises
01:42that DTI is helping to have an additional platform to sell and grow their businesses.
01:49One of their platforms now is the Christmas Village, which is perfect for this holiday season.
01:55DTI and the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
02:02continue to move MSMEs here in our country.
02:05Because of the large number of them, they have a big contribution to the growth of our economy.
02:12Thank you very much, Quenzel Bocobo of IDC 13.
