00:00Canberra opened with the star tennis player Alex Iyala.

00:04Iyala didn't give up his game against China's top scorer, Wei Sijia.

00:10Iyala even tied with Sijia in the first set.

00:13But the Chinese player's momentum remained and the Philippine tennis ace made a sweep.

00:20The game ended in two sets, 7-5 and 6-2, a favor for Sijia.

00:26Despite his exit, Canberra opened with a good start for Iyala's 2025 campaign.

00:33He won against Australia's Thayla Preston to play in the semis of the competition.
