00:28with the 2025 edition.
00:30Transport, the train and hydrogen, Fattapp stole, Astra, we believed right from the start.
00:37IMSS, President Fava meets the students of the Military Academy of Modena.
00:42INCA CGL turns 80, Faiaro, protection remains for us a central point.
00:48SONE Pari Italia inaugurates a new logistics hub in Pomezia.
00:53Civitavecchia focuses on sustainability.
00:56Alvia, the Cold Ironing project.
01:03The reference meeting for the entire cosmetic industry,
01:07recognized around the world as a highly performing meeting to facilitate networking
01:12and the relationship between demand and supply, is about to return.
01:15It is the 56th edition of Cosmoprof worldwide Bologna,
01:19scheduled from 20 to 23 March 2025,
01:23which attracts more than 250,000 operators and more than 3,000 companies from 65 countries
01:28representing more than 10,000 brands.
01:31Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
01:35and ICE, the Agency for Foreign Promotion and Internationalization of Italian Enterprises,
01:41the event remains the key meeting for the operators of the sector.
01:45At Cosmoprof we have replicated events, not all over the world, but in most of the world.
01:52Obviously we are present with some initiatives of our control,
01:57Health and Beauty in Europe, but above all we are present in Asia,
02:00we are present in the United States with two appointments,
02:04we are present in Bangkok, we are present in South America, in China and in India.
02:11So it is a really important event, where the numbers add up and support each other.
02:20And I think that a good part of the success of the event in Bologna
02:27and also of the Italian Cosmese is due to the fact of being able to count on this international event,
02:33which now affirms the Cosmese, Cosmoprof and also the city of Bologna
02:38as a reference point on a global level.
02:41Among the novelties and initiatives offered in this new edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2025
02:47is the increase of visits, especially from abroad, but not only.
02:52Cosmoprof, as every year, in every sector,
02:55dedicates technical and content-oriented in-depth studies
03:01and each operator will certainly have the answer that is expected.
03:06The exhibitors come from 75% abroad, 56% from Europe and 44% from the rest of the world.
03:21We have 29 national collectives, two new ones, Tunisia and California,
03:29so Cosmoprof reaffirms itself as a business platform with a very high rate of internationality.
03:43Cosmoprof and Cosmetica Italia represent a fundamental synergy for the competitive system of the country.
03:49The Italian cosmetic industry, in fact, is continuing to grow.
03:53We ended 2024 with an almost double growth,
03:57we grew by over 9%, reaching over €16.5 billion.
04:05We are also growing for 2025 and we are growing more than the global market.
04:11The global market has grown by about 4%, the Italian cosmetic industry is very competitive.
04:17This year, in 2025, our forecasts tell us that we will grow by over 7%,
04:24we will certainly exceed €17 billion.
04:32Since last January 23, the first Italian hydrogen train has stopped at the Rovato site in Bresciano,
04:38where refueling tests are underway.
04:40The innovative train, the Coradia Stream,
04:43is the pinnacle of an energy transformation process that aims to decarbonize local public transport.
04:50A process that highlights how local public transport is an engine of innovation and progress for the whole country.
04:57I am very proud to represent Astra because it has believed in hydrogen technology right from the start.
05:03It is a virtuous example that starts from the Lombardy region
05:06because it replaces a train that emits diesel fumes with oxygen and water vapor.
05:15I hope that other realities compatible with their territorial needs
05:20will marry this type of technology which, in our opinion, will have greater development in the coming years.
05:27New technology, new infrastructures.
05:30The first Italian hydrogen train will need ad-hoc supply plants,
05:34whose construction will have positive impacts on the induction of the territories that host them.
05:39Undoubtedly, our partners are Kilometro Zero.
05:42First of all, Sapio, who has been working with the hydrogen molecule for 100 years,
05:49and it was he who helped us build what we consider the most important part,
05:56that is, the infrastructure, which is made up of production, storage and distribution plants of hydrogen at Kilometro Zero,
06:04which is the bet to reduce costs in terms of management aspects,
06:10which we are aware of and which, as I said before,
06:15has reduced the cost of the construction of the infrastructure, which has not been touched.
06:26President IMSS Gabriele Fava met with the official students of the Military Academy of Modena
06:31to talk about the preventional culture.
06:33The initiative, the first of its kind in Italy, marks the beginning of a cycle of meetings
06:38on the preventional culture with the IMSS students
06:40in the Armed Forces Training Institutes.
06:43In fact, two more appointments are scheduled for the official school of the Army of Turin
06:48and the unofficial school of the Army of Viterbo.
06:52A virtuous collaboration towards the young, towards their future,
06:56to allow them to enter the world and society in a stable, effective and virtuous way
07:06and, in turn, to transmit those values and to give confidence to themselves,
07:13but at the same time to have confidence in the State.
07:17The cycle of meetings at the Army Training Schools
07:20is part of the largest project of preventional culture and education launched by the IMSS
07:25to bring young people closer to the world of prevention.
07:29It is a significant project because we are trying to make known to everyone,
07:35but especially to young people, the importance of the contributory system
07:38and the opportunities that the contributory system brings,
07:41as well as the obligations that the contributory system brings.
07:44This concerns everyone, it concerns young people from all walks of life.
07:49The meeting, which saw the participation of over 300 students,
07:53was opened by the health of the Commander for the Specialization and Doctrine Training of the Army,
07:58General of the Army Corps Carlo Lamanna,
08:01by the Commander of the Military Academy, General of the Division Davide Scalabrine,
08:05and by the Director of the National Administrative Center of the Army,
08:08the KNAI, Brigadier General Massimo Ciampi.
08:16Inca, the patron saint of the CGL, celebrates his 80th birthday.
08:21It was February 11, 1945, when Inca was born to defend and promote
08:26universal rights established by the Constitution.
08:29It is certainly an extremely important event,
08:3480 years is an important milestone, not only in the lives of people,
08:39but even more so in the lives of an organization like ours.
08:44The occasion was to see our roots again,
08:51to analyze the present and, above all, to analyze the prospect and the future.
08:56In Italy and abroad, Inca means solidarity and assistance for citizens,
09:01for the protection of their rights.
09:03The strong point today, in a country that has many difficulties,
09:08in a country where the work is poor, where citizens suffer a lot of criticism,
09:15starting from poverty, protection, from our point of view, remains central.
09:20A protection that is obviously measured daily with the choices of politics,
09:26and we have also thought about this.
09:28Obviously, we are not satisfied with the measures introduced by the government,
09:33because, in any case, the perimeter of protection is substantially narrowed day after day, more and more.
09:40New challenges and new objectives are now opening up for the Patronato.
09:43A work of perspective, of which we have become protagonists in the last period,
09:48is to focus on local welfare, on the growing demand for local welfare.
09:55This, of course, has led us to relate to the Conference of Regions,
10:01with the ANCI.
10:02Our goal is to make this extraordinary network available,
10:07in a territory that, especially in the last period, has difficulties.
10:11There are more than 4,000 so-called marginal municipalities that suffer from marginality,
10:194,000 municipalities for 60% of the territory, for about a quarter of Italian citizens.
10:27There, probably, there are no post offices, there is no health care,
10:31there are no citizenship services, but maybe there is a Patronato headquarters.
10:38We would like to make this network, this value available in a collaboration
10:44and in a partnership with regions and municipalities.
10:48It is also the goal we set ourselves to look at the future with confidence and effective activity.
10:58With an area of 50,000 square meters and made thanks to an investment of over 30 million euros,
11:06the new logistics hub of Sonepar Italia in Pomezia will already move,
11:10starting from this year, about 600 million euros of electrical equipment.
11:14Leader in the market of the distribution of electrical equipment and part of the international group Sonepar,
11:19Sonepar Italia has inaugurated the new automated logistics hub.
11:22With the presence of local and national institutions,
11:25partners, companies in the sector and representatives of the economic categories.
11:29Today is a good day for us at Sonepar because we have inaugurated our logistics hub in Pomezia.
11:35From Pomezia we cover 6 regions, we cover essentially the south of Italy,
11:40another 5 regions in Rabocco according to the needs,
11:43an income of over half a billion and expression of the commitment of the company
11:48in cultivating and developing the markets of central and southern Italy.
11:52An automated warehouse of a new generation in a building,
11:56in a completely new establishment, built from scratch and consequently optimized
12:01to be able to guarantee the best possible performance for our customers and also our suppliers.
12:07The hub, which promises to provide over 25,000 customers,
12:10among companies and professionals in the building, industry and sustainability sectors
12:14distributed throughout the southern center of the islands,
12:16will work in sync with the twin plant already operating in Padova,
12:20guaranteeing a capillary coverage of the territory with rapid deliveries within 24 hours
12:26on orders made within the 20th of the previous day
12:29and on the basis of a catalog of over 45,000 articles.
12:37The Port of Civitavecchia takes a decisive step towards the ecological transition
12:41with the launch of the Cold Ironing project,
12:43an initiative worth 81 million euros financed with the funds of the PNRR
12:48with the aim of reducing polluting emissions,
12:51allowing the ships to turn off the engines during the stopover at the port,
12:54thanks to the ground power supply.
12:57Several institutional figures have participated at the inauguration ceremony of the first stone
13:02and together with Pino Musolino, extraordinary commissioner of the Port System Authority
13:06of the Martireno Centro Settentrionale,
13:08all underlined the importance of the initiative for the relaunch of the port
13:12and its transformation into a sustainable and strategic hub for the Italian economy.
13:17What we in Italy call Cold Ironing, in the technical language OPS,
13:20Onshore Power Supply,
13:21that is the supply of electricity from land to the ships
13:24to prevent them from polluting when they stop at the ports.
13:27It may seem like a very simple solution,
13:31but in reality it is a solution that many ports struggle to achieve.
13:35And it is, if you want, the first stage of that great path of energy revolution
13:41in relation to the transition of the ports towards greater sustainability
13:46and greater energy independence from fossil fuels,
13:49which is an inevitable path,
13:51thanks also to the strong commitment of the national government
13:54with the funds of the so-called Next Generation EU.
13:57The site provides for the electrification of the benches for 9 August,
14:01to reduce harmful emissions and improve the quality of the air in the port area.
14:05With the start of work and the conclusion scheduled for June 2026,
14:09the Port of Civitavecchia is preparing to become a sustainable development model,
14:13strengthening its competitiveness and projecting towards a greener and more efficient future.
14:18The future is also the conversion of the power plant of Enel,
14:21but possibly also by producing clean energy within the port.
14:25We need the ports to be able to self-manage their own energy capacity,
14:30we need better environmental quality, to keep the occupation and to enhance it.
14:35The national port system is a great asset for us to invest in,
14:40also because the development of Civitavecchia strongly conditions
14:44the industrial and commercial development of all the surrounding regions,
14:49not only of Lazio, but also of much of Tuscany and other regions.
14:54Cold Ironing represents only the first step of a broader transformation
14:58that, according to experts, could include in the future
15:01also the production of clean energy directly within the port,
15:04contributing to its energy independence and to the reduction of the environmental impact.
15:35SPACE ECONOMY
15:39Space economy, the potential of the space industry in Veneto.
15:46Digital innovation and sustainability, synergies not yet widespread in the company.
15:52Thanks to the combination of academic, industrial and manufacturing excellences,
15:56Veneto can aspire to be among the diamonds of Italian space economy.
16:01They support it in the study from the Moon to the Lagoon,
16:04exploring the future of space economy in Veneto.
16:07The Veni Sustainability Foundation and Boston Consulting Group,
16:10which, starting from the observation of the development of the global aerospace market,
16:14highlight the peculiarities of the third region by PIL,
16:18whose growth potential for space economy is still largely unexpressed.
16:23In 2022, the aerospace and defense sector, in fact, generated in Veneto 1.1 billion,
16:29equivalent to 0.6% of the PIL.
16:32We have built a work done by researchers of the Foundation and the partner Boston Consulting,
16:41together with the participation of a whole group of interested partners,
16:46putting in this study two methods, in fact.
16:51On the one hand, studying the characteristics of the success of the aerospace cluster
16:59in different global geographies,
17:03and on the other, studying this type of application
17:09on the characteristics of the Veneto entrepreneurial fabric,
17:13involving a number of Veneto companies,
17:18which either already deal directly with this sector
17:21or have a prospect of what is called a leap of faith.
17:28Through some key strategies,
17:30such as the strengthening of collaboration between the public and the private sector,
17:33the attraction of government and industrial investments,
17:36and the creation of synergies between universities and industry,
17:39Veneto could move from the current supply of specialized components
17:43to the production of entire space systems,
17:45such as satellites and advanced communication instruments,
17:48generating an important impact not only on the PIL, but also on employment.
17:53Within a space economy that we expect will exceed
17:56over 1,000 billion in value worldwide in the coming years,
18:00for Veneto we see the possibility of reaching about 5 billion impact on the PIL
18:07and the creation of over 2,000 high-value jobs.
18:12Digital innovation is an opportunity for the sustainable progress of Italy,
18:15a front on which the European Commission's push
18:18that in recent years has promoted numerous measures,
18:20legislative and strategic plans in both areas is strong.
18:22Even if there are 92 initiatives analyzed,
18:25only a minority deals with both sustainability and digital in a joint and strategic way.
18:29Among those dedicated to sustainability,
18:3113% deals with digital as a central element,
18:34while among those focused on digital,
18:3690% sees sustainability as relevant,
18:39but almost exclusively for social and governance issues,
18:42leaving out environmental ones.
18:44These are some of the results of the research of the Digital and Sustainable Observatory
18:48at the Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with ASSO Lombarda.
18:52Based on the analysis of the great Italian companies on both issues,
18:55the sensitivity is now very high.
18:5784% invests significantly both in digital innovation and sustainability.
19:02But the synergies between the two dimensions are still little explored.
19:06Only one out of three companies uses digital innovation intensively
19:10as a tool to pursue sustainable goals,
19:13and only one out of four is driven by sustainable development lines
19:16to review the policy of digital adoption.
19:19In this regard, PMI are behind,
19:21less than a third of the total invests intensely both in digital innovation and in sustainability,
19:26and it is very rare a synergy between the two dimensions.
