00:11love this story it's local a pinellas county man is facing a felony charge after he accidentally
00:16shot himself in the leg while picking up a 24 pack of soda saturday at the missouri avenue walmart
00:22in largo the 30 year old his name's kyle griffin he had a gun in his waistband without a holster
00:28and when he bent over to pick up the case of soda the firearm suddenly discharged uh he suffered
00:34injuries to his right upper thigh kyle couldn't provide police officers with a concealed carry
00:39permit they come to find out he didn't have one and he had to go to jail he was arrested for felony
00:46carrying of a concealed firearm and funny thing was he was just arrested last march for the same exact
00:51charge here or somewhere else here in in pinellas county oh yeah let's run him out of town
00:57good boy all right this guy was cruising along on the bluegrass parkway up in uh connect uh kentucky
01:05and um he was in his um yellow mustang gt and he said well ain't nobody looking i'm gonna see what
01:13this thing will do so he cranked it on up a little bit speed limit 70. he was clocked doing 143 miles an
01:22hour in his mustang which probably would have actually gone faster than that if they could have
01:27tracked him but um they tried to pull him over he didn't want to stop so he just kept going he led
01:34them on a 30 mile chase and several different law enforcement agencies joining in trying to get this
01:42guy to pull over well finally they see him slow down and he pulls over to the side of the road
01:47knucklehead if you're going to try to do something that stupid you might want to check the gas case
01:55oh no he slapped flat dab ran out of gas in his gt mustang trying to stay ahead of the police
02:02which you cannot do anyway no don't try to outrun them you can't outrun the radio they will get you
02:07one way or the other and they did for speeding more than 26 miles an hour over the speed limit
02:15he got fleeing and invading uh evading police first degree motor vehicle reckless driving four
02:24counts of wanton endangerment first degree police officer driving too fast for conditions and operating
02:32on a suspended or revoked license of course not smart if you don't have your license don't be stupid
02:41they're going to get you they will catch you or you'll run out of gas and kathy and i will catch
