Roma, 19 mag. (askanews) - Donald Trump ha invitato Leone XIV alla Casa Bianca in una lettera che il suo vicepresidente J.D. Vance ha consegnato personalmente lunedì al nuovo papa americano. "È stato un buon incontro, un incontro produttivo", ha detto la portavoce della Casa Bianca, Karoline Leavitt, durante una conferenza stampa sull'incontro tra J.D. Vance e il pontefice, aggiungendo che Donald Trump spera di vedere Leone XIV a Washington "non appena possibile". "A quanto ho capito, è stato un buon incontro, un incontro produttivo.
