00:00Music
00:23Love our tech music there.
00:24Sounds like something from an 80s sci-fi movie.
00:26But it's not.
00:28Okay, so how cool is it to be a mom tester on Mother's Day?
00:33Thousands of viewers applied to try out the products that we've all seen on TV,
00:37like a skillet made from crushed diamonds.
00:40Will this make Mother's Day even more egg-citing?
00:45Boy, that's the worst pun I've ever heard.
00:47Ever in the history of the world.
00:49ABC's tech contributor Becky Worley has the answer. Check it out.
00:53This Mother's Day, give mom a gift you know she'll love.
00:57Approved.
00:58That's right, another edition of GMA Mom Testers.
01:03Let's give it a try.
01:04Three GMA viewers and three new As Seen On TV products.
01:10Will they get a mom approved or a mom disappointed?
01:14Let's meet our moms.
01:15From Mayapac, New York, Adrian Eppolito, mom of three.
01:19From Chicago, Illinois, Yvette Taylor, mom of one boy and one on the way.
01:25And from Fair Oaks, California, Carrie Olson, with two boys and one girl.
01:30First up, since it is Mother's Day, we figured we'd start our moms off with a little relaxation.
01:37Hot booties are the greatest solution to cold and achy feet.
01:40After some quality time in the microwave, our mom's booties were warmed up and ready to go.
01:46I feel nice and warm now.
01:49For Yvette, the booties were hot, but not particularly relaxing.
01:54They're raising my body temperature, but I don't know if my feet feel any better.
01:59And while Carrie wouldn't use the product herself, the hot booties got a thumbs up from her two kids.
02:06And for Adrian, the hot booties hit the spot.
02:09They feel really nice and comfortable and warm.
02:12She loved them, as did the rest of her family.
02:16They match your collar.
02:17And so she gave the hot booties a big mom-approved.
02:21And dog-approved.
02:23Next, continuing our Mother's Day theme, we decided to reward our moms with some bling.
02:29Well, kind of.
02:31The Yoshi Blue Diamond Wear Skillet.
02:33It does look like crushed diamonds.
02:35Ooh.
02:36Once our moms were able to look away from the Yoshi Blue, they got cracking.
02:41Cracking eggs, that is.
02:43It's not sticking at all.
02:44All three moms were impressed with the Yoshi Blue's cooking capability.
02:48It looks like they're doing a pretty good job.
02:50And the taste test.
02:51You like it?
02:52No.
02:53Okay.
02:54Turn it.
02:55The egg passed the Yoshi Blue test.
02:57Turns out diamonds really are a girl's best friend.
03:01Our moms give the Yoshi Blue a unanimous mom-approved.
03:05Finally, a solution for multitasking moms.
03:09The only device on Earth that's truly hands-free.
03:12The Gojo hands-free headset.
03:15It takes your phone, straps it to your head.
03:18Simple.
03:19Yeah.
03:20You heard that right.
03:21Testing the Gojo became a family affair.
03:23And while it kept their phones attached.
03:25Nice.
03:26Fits good.
03:27Can you dial hands-free?
03:29Uh, no.
03:30Our testers found that having your phone attached to your head was, well, as awkward as it sounds.
03:36I'll tell you it's definitely not comfortable.
03:38This part here digs into the other part of the scalp.
03:42All three moms decided they'd stick with using their phones the old-fashioned way.
03:46They gave the Gojo hands-free headset a unanimous mom-disappointed.
03:51I don't know really what they're talking about.
03:55This thing just looks cool.
03:57But we did reach out to the folks who make the Gojo all-star products group.
04:01They also make the hot booties.
04:02And here's what they had to say.
04:04They said the hot booties are designed to warm, chilly feet when relaxing on the couch or under the covers.
04:10And that they scored high marks for comfort and satisfaction when Warren is instructed during prolonged testing with consumers.
04:17Now, as for the Gojo hands-free, the company said the headset underwent extensive testing and has gotten high marks for comfort from consumers since it became available this year.
04:28Um, but guys, I haven't seen a lot of tech moguls walking down the streets of San Francisco or Silicon Valley with it on.
04:35So, maybe slower adoption out here.
04:38It may be slow adoption.
04:40I'm hard-pressed to see why.
04:41But, Becky, thank you very much.
04:43While my co-pilot here, Paula.
04:45I'm just relaxing on the couch with my hot booties on.
04:46Mom tests the hot booties.
04:47I like them.
04:48Let me say that we are actually looking for dads to get involved in this thing.
04:51Yes.
04:52And become a dad tester.
04:53Go to GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo.
04:56I'll get it out eventually.
04:57Is it my feet?
04:58Do they stink?
04:59Yes.
05:00I'm so distracted by the pink to my right here.
05:02Let us know why we should choose you to test a Father's Day product.
05:08That's a different techno music from pop news.
05:10That's coming up soon.
05:11This is the techno music for one of our favorite recurring segments here on GMA.
05:14We call it Mom Testers.
05:15It's where we recruit moms to test those as-seen-on-TV products in the crucible of the average American home.
05:22We should do it in your house sometime.
05:23I just actually purchased one and liked it.
05:25I will tell you about it after the story.
05:27This time around, moms are trying out inventions that are promising to make back-to-school crunch time a whole lot easier.
05:32Yes, please.
05:33Our tried-and-true tester ABC's Becky Morley on the case.
05:37For many of us moms, back-to-school means back-to-morning meltdowns, carpool chaos, and dinner dilemmas.
05:48Luckily, these as-seen-on-TV products claim to help.
05:51You guys ready?
05:52Yeah!
05:53We rounded up a new group of GMA Mom Testers to see if these back-to-school saviors make the grade or deserve time in detention.
06:03Our moms are Westchester, Ohio's Molly Hinker, Detroit, Michigan's Chantelia Johns, and Melbourne, Florida's Colleen Middlebrooks, all moms of two.
06:13First up, is there a way to make getting ready in the morning, well, less hairy?
06:18Normally I'm hearing, ah, ah, this hurts.
06:21Well, this genie may finally grant their wish.
06:24Nothing works better on problem knots than the knot genie.
06:27It's so cute.
06:28So let's see if it works.
06:30How does that feel?
06:31It feels good.
06:32Can we just get the knots out?
06:34We seem to be detangling her hair, actually.
06:36Does that hurt?
06:37No.
06:38I don't see any tears yet.
06:39The knot genie worked its magic for all three of our moms.
06:43This could be the trick.
06:44Conjuring up a unanimous Mom Approved.
06:49Next up.
06:50Catch Caddy.
06:51The revolutionary car seat caddy to catch things before they fall into the black hole.
06:55I have high hopes for this thing.
06:56Let's give it a try.
06:57Fits?
06:58Oh, fits.
06:59Molly and Colleen were quick Catch Caddy converts.
07:02I dropped some change.
07:04Oh, it caught it.
07:06I'm going to keep it in my car.
07:08But for Chantelia, the Catch Caddy fell short.
07:10Literally.
07:11By the end of the night, the Catch Caddy was down on the floor.
07:15All Star Products Group, the company behind the Catch Caddy, says that it was developed with a one-size-fits-most design.
07:22Snugness of fit is based on the car's make and model, but Chantelia still gave it one mom disappointed.
07:28Two moms approved.
07:30Finally, after a long, busy day.
07:32We're going to have burgers tonight for dinner.
07:34But not just any burgers.
07:36Stuff's makes the most amazing, perfectly-sealed patty every time.
07:41Look at that.
07:42It definitely does look delicious.
07:44Our mom started stuffing.
07:46So here we have it.
07:47Chantelia's burger was a stuffed success.
07:50It turned out pretty good.
07:52And Colleen's turkey burger passed the taste test.
07:55Mmm.
07:56Rupert.
07:57Close the lid.
07:58But for Molly...
08:00This is confusing.
08:01The Stuff's was stuffed with complications.
08:04There's too many steps involved.
08:06This will not make my life easier.
08:07The company that makes the stuff says,
08:09We recognize that making a stuffed burger may take more time than a traditional burger.
08:13And we always welcome customer feedback and continue to modify and add to the instructions
08:18in order to simplify the process for first-time users.
08:21But Molly's thumbs down still makes our final tally one mom disappointed, two moms approved.
08:29GMA mom testers to the rescue yet again.
08:33And Dan, Paula, this time of year, I may be trying some of those products.
08:37Really, I'll try anything to tame the back-to-school chaos.
08:41Wish me luck.
08:42Chaos is an understatement.
08:44It's chaotic in your house.
08:45This is the biggest fight.
08:47Trying to cut my daughter's hair.
08:48Getting the knots out of it, yeah.
08:49Yes, in the morning.
08:50Can you get my colic during the break?
08:51Jesus is a nail !
08:59I call this glue UNDER ST yourselves.
09:01I love it.
09:02I'm all for her.
09:04Jesus is an neutral person.
09:05My son like this, yes.
09:06Wunft, your soul.
09:07And fromust Bird, her ass your heart.
09:09So continue to make your home,
09:10you will not be able to enjoy their ways.
09:11Even after you enter the relationship we enter you,
09:12you will not be able to maintain you.
09:14See you after a single morning for free.
09:16The time she has taken your car.
