00:00Families of hostages called Israel's decision to occupy the entirety of Gaza City a bad development.
00:07The move equally drew a swift dismissal from Hamas.
00:11The UN Agency for Human Rights condemned the decision, saying it would result in more atrocity crimes.
00:17On all evidence to date, this further escalation will result in more massive force displacement,
00:23more killing, more unbearable suffering, senseless destruction and atrocity crimes.
00:28The war in Gaza must end now.
00:31The city has endured heavy bombardment but hasn't seen a ground offensive yet.
00:36The move would see Palestinians forced from the city to concentration camps in central Gaza.
00:42The Israeli government decided on a path that we hostage families feel puts out danger,
00:48the living hostages as well as the deceased hostages that never will be found.
00:53And then we ask, you know, what is the plan now that is different from the last 22 months?
00:59And it just sounds like more of the same.
01:01It sounds like the Israeli government does not have an answer and does not want to talk to the public.
01:06It's very unfortunate that the prime minister is not willing to speak in Hebrew,
01:10in his voice to the people here and explaining his actions and taking questions from the media.
01:15Some Israelis, however, support the escalation, saying it is necessary to defeat Hamas.
