Lindbeck's Butchery in Queanbeyan has again made green snags to support the Green Machine in their run to the finals
Transcript
00:00We started making these in 1987 when the Raiders played against Manly and unfortunately we lost.
00:11And every time we get to the semi-finals we've been making them ever since.
00:15Their chances are fabulous this year.
00:18They've got not a team of superstars but just a champion bunch of young fellas that are working really hard together.
00:26And a great coach obviously. He's been able to form all together and show a lot of patience.
00:33Which is unusual for Ricky Stewart I reckon.
00:36But he's looked after those young blokes and now they're getting the results. It's great.
00:44Well it's our special ingredients that we can't ever tell anyone.
00:47But it's all to do with the lawn clippings over there at Seaford Oval, the original Raiders of course.
00:53But we've already made two or three hundred kilos already and we haven't officially started building it until today.
01:01But everyone jumped their gun yesterday.
01:03So we're really surprised by how much everyone's invested in the Raiders this year.
01:11And I guess it's something exciting for people to look forward to coming out of the winter.
01:15It gives them a bit of a buzz.
01:17The Raiders of course.
