00:00It's an L.A. night. You can get a breakdown of everything that happened on Monday Night Raw and Raw Recap tomorrow morning with Sam and Megan.
00:07Anytime we are in Brooklyn, we go hard, but we can't do it without a little star support.
00:12M-E-T-H-O-D, man, representing the Wu-Tang Clan.
00:17Method Man is in the house.
00:20Wu-Tangs for the children, Cole.
00:21There we see Dave East, big-time rapper, Grammy-nominated artist and actor, taking in the sights and sounds of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.
00:32Of course, seated beside him, the one and only Da Vinci actor and mental health advocate.
00:39And he himself is a Grammy and Emmy award-winning artist and producer.
00:44Adam Blackstone with us live in Barclays Center tonight.
00:48Yo.
00:51The man! Let's come around!
01:06Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the women's intercontinental champion,
01:33the man, Becky Lynch!
01:39Can I say how much I love this new entrance music for Becky Lynch?
01:44Shout out to Soupy and the boys in the Wonder Years.
01:48Job well done.
01:50A theme befitting a star the caliber of our intercontinental champion.
01:55Becky Lynch, surviving that SummerSlam versus Lyra Valkyria in the no-countout, no-disqualification match.
02:02And an ovation befitting a star.
02:20I know.
02:20And a ovation befitting a star.
02:21I know.
02:21I know.
02:21I know.
02:22I know.
02:22It's a wonderful job.
02:23It's a wonderful time to make a star.
02:36I know.
02:37I know.
02:37Ding dong, Lyra is gone.
02:55She will no longer be getting any opportunities at the opportunity title
03:01as long as I am the gatekeeper of opportunities,
03:04which is as long as I am the champion, which will be for a very, very, very long time.
03:15Now, now it is time to open the floor to new competitors.
03:23Competitors who understand what it is to step in the ring with me,
03:28to understand that they are stepping in the ring with the greatest female wrestler of all time,
03:35and it's not just me saying it, other people are saying it, Sports Illustrated says it.
03:45But that will not be tonight.
03:47We will not be opening the floor tonight.
03:50Because physically I'm fine.
03:52I'm fine.
04:07The Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella, is here.
04:12What up, Brooklyn?
04:40What up, Brooklyn?
04:42Oh, hey, Becky.
04:47Hello.
04:48You know, I was just listening to you back there,
04:50and I have to say, everything you were saying, I mean, you are so right.
04:54I mean, Becky Lynch really is one of the greatest of all times.
04:59The greatest.
05:01No, and I mean, I am so proud of all of your accomplishments.
05:05You know, I remember when I first met you.
05:07You had such great potential, and it was superstars like Becky Lynch.
05:12I knew it was okay to take a step away because the women's division was in such great hands.
05:21You're welcome.
05:22That means a lot.
05:23I've always respected you.
05:24My God, thank you.
05:25But you know what?
05:26You turned out to be such a disappointment.
05:31Yeah.
05:32Excuse me?
05:33Oh, yeah.
05:34I mean, the same hands that I left the division in has stopped everyone in the back.
05:40And I mean, Becky, you're supposed to be here raising a generation.
05:44You literally are handcuffing them.
05:46You know, I came back here to test myself because this is the best the division has ever been.
05:54Right?
05:56Yes.
05:59But you want to know what I've been trying to figure out?
06:02Why did you come back?
06:04I mean, you could have stayed away.
06:06I mean, were you really that jealous watching women like Lyra kill it?
06:11Or let me guess, Hollywood just wasn't what you thought it would be.
06:17No, no, no.
06:18Don't talk to me about Hollywood.
06:21I am a featured player in the hottest movie of the summer, Happy Gilmore 2, streaming on Netflix.
06:30She is.
06:33Wait, wait, wait a minute, wait a minute.
06:35I remember seeing you on set there, too.
06:39Weren't you supposed to be in it?
06:42Oh, but your role got cut.
06:44I wonder why that was.
06:47It's because my reach extends far beyond these ropes.
06:51I got you cut.
06:53Because there is only room in that movie for one of us, and it wasn't going to be you.
06:57You know what, Becky?
06:58Listen up.
06:58I am so sick of this.
07:01I'm not buying this.
07:02The blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
07:04No, no, no.
07:05I'm not buying it.
07:05You are a liar just like your husband.
07:10But you want to know the difference?
07:13Yeah, but you know what the big difference is?
07:19We all bought Seth Lies.
07:21No one buys your BS.
07:23No one.
07:24Because you know what, Becky?
07:26I see right through you.
07:28You are that same insecure, little, scared girl that came into this division.
07:33Oh, okay.
07:36Do not talk about me and my hot husband.
07:43Me and my hot husband are the greatest wrestling couple of all time.
07:56But wait a minute.
07:57At one point, that would have been you and your...
08:00Oh, oh, wait.
08:08You can't see him anymore.
08:10But also, also remember this,
08:39that when I came up, I came up to combat your era.
08:44So don't talk to me about how I handle my era.
08:48Becky, this isn't your era. I hate to break it to you.
08:51And guess what? In my era, you were too damn scared
08:54to come take me on one-on-one. So how about this?
08:57In this era that isn't yours,
09:00why don't you put your Intercontinental Championship on the line
09:04and face me one-on-one, Nikki Bella versus Becky Lynch?
09:09You know why we never went one-on-one?
09:28We never went one-on-one because...
09:32Oh!
09:35A cheap shot by Becky!
09:37Well, a number of cheap shots by Becky, but nonetheless,
09:40fireworks here tonight between the Intercontinental Champion,
09:44Becky Lynch, and the Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella.
09:47She led with the cheap shot and finished the task with a sucker punch.
09:52The Hall of Famer goes down and the man stands tall.
09:56I'm standing by with the Women's World Champion, Naomi.
10:07Naomi, credit where credit's due.
10:09Last week, you called your shot.
10:11You said at SummerSlam you're going to beat two of the biggest names in WWE
10:15and Io Sky and Rhea Ripley.
10:18Well, last night, you pulled it off.
10:21How do you feel about your win?
10:23I feel great.
10:24I don't know about everybody else because I warned them.
10:28I warned everybody, don't be shocked when I walk out of SummerSlam
10:31with my Women's World Championship.
10:33And now everybody looking stupid.
10:35That ain't my fault.
10:36And I want to clear up some other rumors
10:38and confirm something I hear that's swirling around.
10:41Next week on Raw, I will be defending my championship against Io Sky.
10:46Because if she want to get dragged again...
10:52Whether it's you or Io Sky, I have to bet
10:56that the Women's World Championship will belong to La Primera and Clash in Paris.
11:04Oh, it's most definitely going to be me.
11:06And at Clash, I'm going to take them horns
11:09and I'm going to shove them so far up your behind,
11:12you're going to be leaving Paris with a limp.
11:20Man, what has gotten into the water on Monday Night Raw tonight?
11:24I don't know, but I love everything that Naomi's doing right now.
11:27Well, ladies and gentlemen, I want to take you back.
11:29We've got some breaking news from this past Saturday night at SummerSlam.
11:32It was Gunther versus CM Punk, of course, for the World Heavyweight Championship.
11:37Gunther hit the announce table hard, and we have an update now on the injury to Gunther.
11:40He suffered a septal hematoma and orbital blowout fracture.
11:45And we understand that the ring general, Gunther, will be out of action indefinitely.
11:51And now we turn our attention to what's going to happen this coming Friday night on SmackDown from Montreal.
11:56The man who shut down SummerSlam weekend in spectacular fashion.
12:02The new undisputed WWE Champion, the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, will be live this Friday night.
12:12And our tour of Canada will continue next Monday night here on Raw, live on Netflix, from the gorgeous city of Quebec City.
12:20And one of the big match-ups on the card.
12:22It happens because of what transpired moments ago.
12:25Rusev and Sheamus crawling to the back.
12:27Sami Zayn got caught in the middle.
12:29Rusev with a cheap shot.
12:30These two, Sami Rusev, go live in Sami's home country next week.
12:36And Adam Pearce is on an absolute roll today because it is official for next Monday night on Raw.
12:44The women's world champion, Naomi, will defend her gold against EO Scott.
12:51Are you ready, Corey?
12:52Yes, ma'am.
12:53For our main event.
12:55Because here comes the number one contender for the championships.
12:59LA Knight, Seth Rollins for the title, live on Netflix.
13:14Oh, no, no, no, Charlotte!
13:16Oh!
13:17Oh!
13:18It defends Alexablis!

13:23It's the big game!
13:24It's the big game!
13:25And Alexablis will win the championship game by Gif!
13:28So what do you think, Charlotte will win?
13:30You're your winner!
13:31Charlotte and Alexsada!
13:33We've won the championship game!
13:35Let's go!
13:38Oh, my God!
13:40Logan Paul!

16:43master moments ago confrontation nikki bella and becky lynch in the ring why don't you put
16:49your intercontinental championship on the line and face me one-on-one nikki bella versus becky lynch
16:55we never went one-on-one because certainly not the answer nikki bella was hoping for
17:07becky becky what were you doing out there you and i used to be friends but what you did to nikki
17:16was wrong wrong excuse me you're you're coming at me attacking me three on one four if you count
17:22nikki like a bunch of cowards i didn't do anything wrong
17:25how about a match next week one-on-one okay all right challenge accepted i'll see you next week
17:33no no no no not you no her wait what yeah see you next week sweet cheeks
17:42a wonderful opportunity tonight for la night a chance to knock off seth rollins for the world
18:11heavyweight championship but despite rollins and the injury ruse la night did remind us all that
18:17he did indeed beat seth rollins at saturday night's made event last month you're absolutely right and
18:23that has to give the challenger tonight an added boost of confidence la night has been extremely vocal
18:28he wants to be at the top of the card he wants to live on top of the mountain la night has scratched
18:35and applauded for every opportunity he's received in wwe is tonight his night
18:41brooklyn seems to think so
18:51and of course seth rollins may have feigned the injury at saturday night's main event but seth will
19:01tell you firsthand how bad it sucks to taste the bft courtesy of la night
19:07remember no bronxon reed no braun breaker because they are banned from ringside in this match
19:32the champion has got to feel like his back is against the wall rollins came to barclays center
19:49tonight to celebrate not compete instead rollins finds his newly minted championship reign under great
19:58fire thanks to adam pierce and la night
20:01for now rollins vision has become reality let's head up to the great alicia taylor
20:21the following contest is scheduled for one fall
20:30and it's for the world heavyweight championship
20:39introducing first the challenger from los angeles california
20:50weighing in at 240 pounds hill hay knight
20:59and his opponent from davenport iowa
21:10weighing in at 225 pounds
21:14he is the world heavyweight champion
21:23seth
21:27seth rollins defends the world heavyweight title versus la night tonight
21:35senior official chad patten will work this matchup
21:40rollins of course winning the title cashing in on cm punk
21:44after the main event of summer slam
21:46saturday
21:47on more than one occasion rollins has proven that he has earned the moniker the architect
21:56an expertly executed plan came to fruition and rollins once again finds himself as world heavyweight
22:05champion he talked about his group that he has formed with hayman and reed and breaker
22:09called it the vision earlier tonight the way forward the past the present and the future and now la night
22:15looking to stop rollins in his tracks what does night have to do glory to take the title tonight
22:20la night needs to do what he just did come out of the gates strong come out of the gates fast
22:24rollins likely a little banged up still from saturday night
22:28i said that i was gonna say i mean
22:32now but night night needs to use the fury that he's feeling inside that internal turmoil channel it
22:39toward seth rollins
22:42now rollins will send that oh reverses
22:47la night with a clothesline
22:50again no reed no breaker man from ringside by our general manager tonight suplex
22:55floats into the cover and a kick out while rollins was away presumably injured we heard from paul
23:01hayman and company that the goal was absolute power and total control i think it's safe to say
23:07mission accomplished indeed now that sets the world heavyweight champion
23:14nice neck breaker
23:17and again another cover and a kick out at one
23:20to further answer your question la night needs to be perfect tonight la night cannot afford a misstep
23:27a miscue a mistimed maneuver because rollins will capitalize and make the challenger pay and
23:33rollins has the advantage la night must submit rollins to win the championship tonight
23:38for seth rollins this must win as well i mean oh absolutely he'll afford to to lose the title
23:44after cam out here bragging about the vision and all that at the start of the night
23:50a loss tonight would turn the ruse of the century into just a blip on the radar
23:55a completely forgettable turn of events that rollins will have essentially squandered the money in the
24:00bank contract to hold the title for two days right now outside the ring in pursuit of the homes
24:06who's trying to stay clear of la night looking at using a paul hayman as a human shield
24:16oh and la night saw it coming and was able to block what i'm seeing so far is that the
24:21challenger is absolutely locked in la night has a game plan he's executing to perfection
24:28he's got to be careful not to get himself disqualified
24:31wallings is a trying to get out of harm's way and la night caught him and now lions
24:38into the apron kidney first and again la night took a bit too much time there against the architect we've
24:43seen it bite la night in the past he gets a little lost in the adulation of the crowd la loves the people
24:50just as much as they love him there's no doubt about it one of the reasons he's in this position is because of
24:55the wwe fans this position is about to be very very bad a stop right to the back of the neck of la night
25:04rollins incomplete and total control
25:16again just one small mistake by la night and the architect seth rollins took over and that's all it
25:22takes and luckily for la night he's an incredibly tough guy he will fight his way back into this
25:28match in some capacity but the damage may have already been done rollins only needs that one
25:34tiny opening and rollins 100 of the time will exploit it rollins now a six-time world champion
25:44you know stomps away on la night night has been a thorn in rollins side for a number of months now
25:50cory well it's become extremely personal at least in half of the equation that being la night
25:56rollins would love to put la in the rearview mirror move onward move upward but knight he just
26:02refuses to relent he is not going to stop until he gets his pound of flesh from the visionary
26:08heyman big smile on his face out here as he polishes up the title and now la night starting to fight
26:14back on the champion got rollins in the corner step whipping la night what an irish whip
26:21and knight hit the turnbuckles hard and this is something that rollins has become so adept at over
26:26time he's learned how to remove the crowd from the situation when la knight's music hit barclays center
26:33came unglued firmly behind the challenger rollins understands that without the fans
26:38la knight can't hit that next gear he can't hit that 100 percent mode
26:44collins now steady knight across the ring into the turnbuckle again collins just beating down knight
26:52and seth now hang up knight in the second row
27:10and paul haymond just talking trash tonight at ringside
27:22and if you're seth rollins you're using this matchup as an opportunity to make an example
27:28out of la night to really start off this championship reign on a whole new level a warning to the whole
27:34roster
27:45seth rollins the world heavyweight champion in control
27:48la night the challenger looking to somehow rally paul haymond rollins oracle at ringside reed breaker
27:58banned from ringside
28:02oh and what a chop by rollins
28:05and la knight firing back understands what an opportunity this is for his career
28:11oh we're going to win his first world championship in wwe
28:17rollins look for a pedigree and a backdrop counter by night
28:28rollins caught him face first second turnbuckle again the veteran rollins always in control
28:34the visionary the revolutionary the architect when it comes to strategizing a matchup for laying out
28:43all the possible outcomes rollins is that guy he always has oh oh no right up to the top rope
28:50tremendous athleticism into my superplex rollins couldn't plan for that one
28:56rolls to the cover flips his arm over the chest and a kick out at two
29:02paul hayman's life flashing before his eyes there
29:05it was almost over before it began for seth rollins an epic superplex from the top from the
29:13challenger and the playing field once again closer to even can la night capitalize can the challenger
29:20do something with the opportunity he created well he needs to now because rollins is smart and now
29:25la night trying to drag himself to his feet rollins to his feet as well now rollins measuring is the
29:31challenger chop delivered tonight
29:37all right answering back
29:42turned into a slugfest
29:44i don't know if this is a situation rollins wants to be caught in you don't want to trade hands with la night
29:57and to your point cory night now with the upper hand delivering the big rights to the champion now a clothesline
30:05sometimes you just got to plant your feet and start swinging side rushing leg sweep by the challenger
30:10rollins into the corner chest first neck breaker cover by night an air fall
30:26paul hayman again feeling some discomfort on the outside while inside the ring it's rollins who's
30:32experiencing it courtesy of a neck breaker from la night but not enough to do the trick yet
30:41night back to his feet confidence beginning to grow
30:49trying to drag rollins back up seth rollins jawbreaker
30:57and i caught him wow power slam by night oh and seth got the knees up for the elbow
31:05the champion muscling up la night into a buckle bomb
31:15here it comes for the stop night moved out of harm's way
31:20down goes rollins is it enough for night to pick up the win in the title and a kick out of two and
31:25air fall
31:31night realizes that was a tremendous opportunity right there cory it was but rollins reminding the
31:36world that just because you may not like him doesn't mean you shouldn't respect him
31:41rollins is the real deal capacity crowd
31:44barclays center in brooklyn tonight our main event of monday night raw night rollins for the world
31:52heavyweight championship la night letting the world know where his vision is locked on the world
31:58heavyweight championship on the outside of the ring and la night can sense it bft incoming
32:05rollins struggling to his feet night from behind
32:10rollins scoops him up rolls him down kick out at two went for the stop again night
32:18wants a pedigree night again able to counter that and a ddt
32:23the champion down again but knight still in no condition to finish the fall yeah but you got to
32:30give l.a. night credit all the fall yeah but you got to give l.a. night credit oh maybe i was wrong
32:34l.a. night countering everything rollins is throwing at him
32:48from the top rope delivers the elbow to the champion
33:00down dribbin over all the bounce table
33:08rollins hit home
33:11but that's hard too
33:13except rollins down trying to drag himself up out of the wreckage at l.a. night and this is
33:18a smart move by night stay on the attack cory with set rollins in trouble now
33:24i guess this would be an appropriate time to make a jalen brunson reference
33:32well we're not wrong arena right city wrong arena
33:34wrong arena that's why i don't talk basketball and rollins now sent over the announce table and
33:38l.a. night could be closing in on his first ever world heavyweight title
33:53oh now rollins
34:00couldn't quite see if he went low there
34:02and now uh set rollins uh sending l.a. night into the post
34:21rollins that was trying to get way to his feet it looked like he went low on night for momentarily and
34:25then he drove he drove night into the ring post and out rollins mounting night at ringside and hammering away
34:36i finally got myself untangled from the wreckage over here can you hear me
34:40yeah we got you cory all right we lost all our monitors out here and but
34:46now we've got a rollins breaking the count and he wants to punish he wants to teach l.a. night a lesson
34:52here tonight again this is about more than l.a. night to seth wrong this is for the entire roster
34:57seth wants to establish dominance remember it's about absolute power and total control for rollins and
35:03his crew and this will do it this is a hell of a way to send a message well rollins of course
35:09interrupted by l.a. night tonight on the night he was supposed to be celebrating for the world heavyweight championship
35:16oh
