00:00Bagu Khan, aka Human GPS for Terror Outfits, was gunned down by Indian security forces
00:06on August 23, 2025, in the Goresh sector of Bandipora district, Jammu and Kashmir.
00:12Khan was a living map, leading terrorists safely through the most treacherous, no-bound
00:17terrain. His near-perfect memory of terrain and secret routes earned him the nickname Human GPS.
00:22For nearly three decades, Khan, a Pakistani national from Muzaffarabad, was the go-to
00:27guide for militants, memorising hidden trails, dodging patrols and steering over 100 infiltration
00:33bids across the LOC, mostly for Hezbollah Mujahiddin. Under Operation Naushaira Nars 4,
00:40a joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police, Khan was cornered near Naushaira
00:45Naar. A firefight ended with Khan and another terrorist dead, his Pakistani ID confirming
00:51his identity. With his unique knowledge gone, infiltration attempts are expected to falter,
00:56weakening Pakistan-backed militancy in Kashmir. The so-called Human GPS has finally been switched off.
