00:00But let us start off with a compelling Thursday night football game tomorrow, obviously, between the Green Bay Packers and the Washington Commanders.
00:08We saw Green Bay just absolutely destroy Detroit in its first game.
00:12The Commanders went out, did what they were supposed to do.
00:14But we have a kind of narrow spread here, three and a half points.
00:18So, you know, you missed that key number of three.
00:20You're just outside of the field goal.
00:22What are the expectations for Green Bay at home in primetime?
00:25Yeah, I mean, the expectations got to be soaring through the roof based on what happened in week one and just because of that addition of Micah Parsons alongside the rest of the crew that had already been established there at Lambeau Field.
00:38Look, now, as betters, we always want to avoid recency bias, especially post-week one.
00:44But it's hard to neglect a couple of things.
00:45And it's, one, just how good that Packers defense looked.
00:49And, two, the fact that the Commanders looked a little slow out of the gates.
00:53Now, in general, I'm a bit more down on this Washington team.
00:57You and I have discussed this over the course of the past week.
01:00It's not to say that I think they'll be bad.
01:01I just don't think they're going to take a step forward from what they produced last year.
01:06So, it was kind of reinforced to a certain degree in week one against a Giants team where, what, the final score was 21-6.
01:13It probably should have been much worse than that.
01:15Low mold, they still cover the spread, right?
01:17But now you turn around in a short week with still some kinks possibly to work out that you didn't really figure out in that first game.
01:24Then you've got to go to one of the tougher environments at Lambeau Field against what may be one of the better defenses in Green Bay.
01:31But you put it perfectly, Adam.
01:33I mean, you missed the boat on the best number for Green Bay laying that flat three.
01:38I know some shops you could still, you know, lay minus $1.20 to do so.
01:41But I'm probably going to wait to see what the market does, see if there is going to be any buyback on the side of Washington to then jump in on the Packers.
01:50Because I do think they'll end up being the right side, but I also want to get the right price.
01:54Now, there is a play that I do like, and this is going to revolve around the player prop market.
01:59Jaden Daniels over 20.5 pass completions minus $1.20 is what I've seen out in the market.
02:04So, going with my line of thinking that the Packers will have, you know, the steady hand in this game, they'll probably be leading for a majority of it.
02:12Washington's going to need to throw the ball more so in order to keep up.
02:15We see a high total of about 48.5 at some shops.
02:18Should be kind of that back and forth affair to leading to more passing.
02:22And again, this Packers run defense was prolific in week one, limiting Sonic and Knuckles to just 44 rushing yards.
02:28That dominance should most likely persist, and I think Washington will be contained in that regard, thus leading Daniels to getting over 20.5 pass completions.
