01:09In response to the call made by Venezuelan head of state Nicolas Maduro on Saturday, the Bolivarian
01:13nation has entered a new phase of preparation within the framework of Operation Independence
01:18200, starting at 9am. Military units and bases across the country, purely designated for
01:23this operation, are receiving the Bolivarian national militia to begin the advanced phase
01:27of training in defense of the territory. The head of state has met with high-ranking political
01:32and military leaders to assess the outcomes of the mobilizations and operations initiated
01:36since the early morning of September 11th, which he characterized as promising. There are
01:41284 active fronts in the region aimed at safeguarding the Atlantic Caribbean coast and achieving key

04:50But the question that arises from civil society is inevitable beyond lawsuits, what can citizens
04:55do to defend what is theirs? A call that not only appeals to action, but also to the conscience
05:01of those in power.
05:02What are we doing in our country? What steps do we need to take at this time to defend our
05:12sovereignty? To reiterate the need to respect the Neutrality Treaty because one of the parties
05:16to that treaty, the United States is violating neutrality.
05:26In the end, the dilemma facing Panama goes beyond a memorandum or a tall. It is a test
05:31of national vocation. A reminder that sovereignty is not an abstract concept, but a daily decision
05:37made in the Palace of Las Garzas, in the courts and in the streets. The outcome of this geopolitical
05:43struggle, which pits Panamanian legality against Washington's interests, is still to be ridden.

07:03Welcome back. In Haiti, dozens of people were killed in a fishing village north of the capital
07:14in the latest massacre carried out by the country's criminal groups. According to Joseph Louis-Baptiste,
07:19a local government official, at least 42 people were killed in La Botry, including a four-year-old
07:25child and his family. Baptiste also said that the killings began over the weekend and are still
07:31ongoing, noting that the criminal groups set fire to La Botry and are now attempting to
07:35attack the nearby town of Arecaay, while the police are trying to stop them. The massacre
07:40was apparently triggered by the killing of a criminal leader, known as Vladimir, a member
07:44of a coalition of criminal groups called VIF and ZAM, which has looted several communities
07:49in Porto Prince and other areas.
07:53And in Colombia, President Gustavo Perro said that one of the causes of violence in the country
08:02is European drug trafficking, and this requires a constant fight against drugs, which causes
08:06thousands of victims in the country. Our correspondent Hernando Bar with the details.
08:12In the context of the signing of the Cauca Pact, a government policy that seeks to end years
08:20of inequality and lack of territorial investment in a department plagued by violence, President
08:25Gustavo Perro asserted that European drug traffickers allied with the right wing of that
