00:00The series Sweet Home isn't about monsters, it's about you, about what you're really hiding deep inside.
00:05Each monster represents a real clinical mental illness.
00:09The author of the original webtoon collaborated with a psychiatrist to create each creature based on an existing diagnosis.
00:16Narcissism, bulimia, depression, S-type tendencies, etc.
00:20Song Kang or Yunsoo lived in total isolation to prepare for his role.
00:24He voluntarily locked himself in a dark room for 5 days, without human contact, to experience the loss of the will to live.
00:30The virus in the series is based on a real scientific hypothesis.
00:34The concept of human desire transformed into biological mutation was inspired by Japanese research on cellular memory.
00:41And some extras even left the set after experiencing recurring dreams.
00:46Several team members said they saw their own monstrous version in dreams.
00:50They weren't dreams, they were nightmares.
00:51This is a series I recommend for Halloween.
