00:00A temple must definitely have elements that elevate your consciousness, that remind you of the beyond,
00:08that take the lowly consciousness to a high point where it becomes receptive.
00:13Is it taking you beyond the mundane things that keep circulating in your mind?
00:18A temple just cannot be a place where there are some stone carvings and such things.
00:23Ideally, today's temples must be great centers of learning,
00:27not just a temple where you go and ring the bell and get the prasad,
00:31not a temple where all kinds of superstitions breed.
00:35A temple is a place where you are.
00:41A temple must definitely have elements that elevate your consciousness.
00:50Being at a place, being with elements, being with people, being with structures,
00:57being with sights, scenes, sounds, that remind you of the beyond.
01:07That take the lowly consciousness to a high point where it becomes receptive to signals from the sky.
01:16Are you getting it?
01:21That's a temple.
01:23So, a temple first of all must have those elements.
01:29Secondly, wherever those elements are present,
01:33that place is a temple, even if you call it by some other name.
01:38Are you getting it?
01:39So, look at the effect the whole situation, the whole arrangement, the whole architecture is having on you.
01:55Is it taking you beyond the mundane things that keep circulating in your mind?
02:01If yes, then it deserves to be called a temple.
02:05If no, then it is just another place.
02:08Entertaining probably, imposing probably, but not elevating.
02:16The aspect of elevation is central.
02:21Temple is a place where you are elevated.
02:31If you are not being elevated, the place is not a temple.
02:34And if you are being elevated in some place, that place is most definitely a temple.
02:42Most definitely a temple.
02:51So, you know, ideally today's temples must be great centers of learning.
02:59Temples must be spiritual universities.
03:05A temple just cannot be a place where there are some stone carvings and such things.
03:10Real education has to be imparted in temples.
03:15That's elevation of consciousness.
03:17Temples have to be centers of not only education in scriptures.
03:23They must also be centers where education is imparted in arts and sciences.
03:29Because unless you are scientific, it will be very difficult for you in today's age to be really spiritual.
03:37In fact, I have this vision.
03:44Vishranti was organized in Udaipur in the month of February.
03:51So, I was with Anshu one night till very late, 2-3, and we saw a temple on a hilltop.
04:04And I said, one day, it is possible that we will raise a real temple.
04:13Not just a temple where you go and ring the bell and get the prasad.
04:18Not a temple where all kinds of superstitions breed.
04:23But a temple that would be a center of real scientific research.
04:27A place where fine arts find great expression.
04:33A place where human consciousness is refined, broadened, elevated in all possible ways.
04:44I remember I said to him that in a temple there must be a center of contemporary studies.
04:53Where one is taught about all the current world issues.
05:04A temple must really be a university in the purest sense of the word.
05:10Great creativity must arise out of a temple.
05:31A temple must be a place where great ideas are discussed.
05:34A temple must be a place of conversation and healthy debate.
05:42Great scholars from all directions and dimensions must converge in the temple.
05:50When people go to a temple, they must return enriched.
05:54You are able to listen to a profound lecture or to an animated debate.
06:11You come to know of things that you otherwise do not know.
06:15Economics is being discussed.
06:16Geopolitics is being discussed.
06:18The recent cutting edge and great advancement in physics are being discussed.
06:28There are physicists.
06:30There are medical researchers.
06:33There are geologists.
06:35There are cosmologists.
06:37And they all are present in the temple.
06:39That's what a temple must really be like.
06:42And obviously when I say all that, the foundation of the temple has to be mystical.
06:48I am only talking of those things that are currently missing in temples.
06:55I must correct myself, actually mystics too are missing in temples.
06:59So I must talk of them as well.
07:00So when consciousness is raised, only then it becomes capable of transcending into the mystical dimension.
07:13Consciousness under the burden of gravitation with all its shackles cannot fly away.
07:22Cannot gain freedom from the worldly entanglements.
07:26First of all, it must gain clarity with respect to the world.
07:33When there is clarity and knowledge with respect to the world, only then there is a possibility of going beyond the world.
07:40So temple must first of all be a place of knowledge, then a place of learning and then a place of mysticism.
07:48It has to be a composite thing.
07:54One day, God willing, we will come up with such a temple.
08:01Let's see.
08:02How would it be to, you know, find a lab of nuclear physics in one side, in one quarter?
08:19And an aggregation of the words best dancers on the other side, both in the same campus.
08:29How would it be?
08:31Live long, everybody, to see that day.
08:37I hope I also live long enough to see that day.
08:47I hope I also live long enough to see that day.
08:50How will it be to help you?
09:01You can find out all things like this and I believe in nature.
09:03Monday is the age of 248.
