00:00and we can dive into that game right from the get-go was one of the most entertaining in round
00:05number two Ole Miss does win it 39 to 34 this was a team that just a week ago coach had double
00:13digits on them to win a national championship they were at basically a 17 to one number as
00:21we inch closer to the start of the game they were as high in the offseason right before these games
00:26played out as a 22 to one shot to potentially win a national championship but Trinidad Chambliss and
00:34this offense led by Charlie Weiss the offensive coordinator sliced and diced Georgia's defense
00:41especially in the second half they trailed 21 to 12 at halftime they made second half adjustments
00:48and they win it by five points I mean this team came prepared and they didn't miss Lane Kiffin
00:54not at all in this matchup no they're playing better they played their best game of the year
00:59and were phenomenal it started with a Trinidad Chambliss he was lights out they could not get
01:06Ole Miss off the field he made play after play he extended plays he created plays he flipped the
01:13ball out to a back in the flat he made the deep ball throws he's as accurate on deep balls as anybody I
01:18have seen and that was the thing that probably made the biggest difference in the football game
01:23to me if you watch closely now uh Georgia rushed I think for about as much as Ole Miss but Georgia
01:31could not make any yardage on first down it was always second and eight and second and nine and they
01:36ended up in third and long and third and long but it was the offense of Ole Miss and what they did to
01:41the defense you know we saw Kirby Smart go for it on fourth and four down three points nine minutes left of the
01:48game he had all three timeouts and on his own 30 yard line he went for it on fourth and four
01:53that tells me that the dead coach doesn't believe his defense can get him off the field because you
01:59want to put that ball down and let your defense stop him and get a field goal at least to tie it up
02:04but he took a chance they scored and although they came back maybe he was right because when you had
02:09to stop him the next time they hit a bomb on the last 50 seconds of the game and went down the
02:14field kick to field goal to win the game so Ole Miss and you mentioned Charlie Weiss along with
02:20Trinidad Chambliss I think they both need to be talked about because I thought it was a great job
02:26of play selection especially that Chambliss never kept he got rid of the ball so quick he never held
02:33on to the ball they couldn't get to him to sack him because he he got the ball out of his hands so
02:38quick they couldn't get any pressure on him no you're right and I agree Charlie Weiss Jr. called
02:45a fantastic game plan he was aggressive that's the way you have to beat Georgia we have talked
02:51about Georgia's struggles in back-to-back years potentially with mobile quarterbacks you look
02:57last year in the Alabama game Jalen Milrow gave him some problems the elusiveness and athleticism of
03:03Trinidad Chambliss was evident in critical third downs he converted not one but two key third downs
03:10to put his team in a position to score points and win that matchup on Thursday night the other factor
03:17too coach was twofold one you look at Georgia's offense throughout the regular season they were
03:23converting 45 percent on third down conversions you go back to the stats of that game they only convert
03:29three of 13 on third down you go back to the rushing attack in game number one a game that they
03:35won by margin by eight points uh in Athens they pounded the rock for 221 yards on the ground they
03:42ran the football effectively with Nate Frazier in the first half they get away from it in the second
03:47half and really that ultimately allowed Ole Miss back in that football game the other factor and I want to
03:54get your take on this is you look at the first matchup for uh Georgia a game that they won by eight
04:01points lost and lucky Oscar dealt the tight ends accounted for basically 16 receptions in that game
04:08three touchdowns they only had a combined two receptions for 32 yards coach and one came out of
04:16fake punt why didn't they get the tight ends involved more well I would have to think that Ole Miss who has
04:22now played them twice in one season has had plenty of video to watch know that whether it's this year
04:28or previous years Georgia offense depends so much on that tight end that they found a way to either box
04:35him inside outside or play him tight man coverage or make sure that he wasn't the primary guy you could
04:41go to I don't think they're tight ends this year I've had the numbers that they've had in the past years
04:46but when they can't use their tight end in those situations because that's the type of team that Georgia is
04:52they're not as effective but overall I was going to say that the even the even the running back
04:58because I love Frazier and I love the the run and Lacey Lacey's he's more explosive himself he can get
05:03outside in inside he even catch the football I just think there are a lot of things that Ole Miss did
05:08Georgia depends on getting the ball to that tight end and running the football the reason their third
05:15downs were so bad was because they didn't get they were always one or two yards on first down
05:20and put them in long yardage third down situations that's not how Georgia plays football
05:25I think they got outplayed and got out coached in that football game
