00:00Vic was always very good to her cast like when we did Acorn Antiques we got a teapot with a very
00:09nice teapot and teacup and saucer but for dinner ladies I got that and I got two of those I got
00:21one for 1998 and I would have brought it but it's egg and chips and all the chips have fallen off
00:29so and I couldn't glue them back on I don't know why it wouldn't take the glue but there we are
00:35that is from Vic and worth a few Bob I would think now
00:40yeah yeah my name on that that's my name there
00:47but it wasn't just Duncan who was awarded a dinner ladies plate Victoria Wood had them made for all
00:55the cast and they've almost all survived to this day egg and chips yes giving giving thing this
01:07wasn't she made it very personal suddenly my egg and chips re-stick it on the end of the second series
01:15I remember they had trouble making this one because she had to get these tarts specially made half the
01:23size because they're usually about that thick and they wouldn't stick to the plate
01:26some experiments especially made for as well oh yeah and she was I think that was called second
01:35helpings second helpings that's correct it was um interesting wasn't it that they I wish we'd done
01:41another series just have soup it had soup spilling soup just spilling out mine got smashed my egg and chips
01:50caught it with my shoulder it was on a wall and it was in smithereens and a friend said I'll put it
01:57together again and he got it all together there was one tiny little piece missing and we never found
02:03it but eventually we bought another plate and he put them all back on again and painted it wasn't that
02:10clever so we'll be able to tell which it is because my dinner ladies isn't quite so what you mean it's a
02:14phony it's a phony it's a phony it's not the original
