00:00Oh, by the way, you shot Inferno primarily in Italy, right?
00:04We did, yes.
00:05That must have been, I was watching this movie, and first of all, they're so, they're so much fun to
00:09watch
00:09because you're, it's an action movie, but you feel like you're learning things.
00:13You're learning about Dante and art, and you're shooting in these museums.
00:17You're really shooting in the museums.
00:19Do they shut those museums down when you're in there?
00:21Uh, they, actually, you kind of have a limited amount of time.
00:25It's usually, you've got about 20 minutes to half an hour to quickly shoot something and then get moving
00:31because, obviously, they, they have to open up for the, for the visitors who've traveled far and wide
00:35to come and see these great pieces of artwork.
00:37Yeah.
00:37So, um, but we would often, I, I sometimes felt quite sorry for Ron Howard, who was directing us,
00:42because the actors would just disappear because we'd be going to look at some kind of beautiful piece of artwork
00:47somewhere in a room, and then they'd be going, you've got to come back to set.
00:51Like, no, I'm looking at the Botticelli's.
00:53Do the curators get nervous when the Botticelli's are around, and you guys, and there are, like,
00:57fake bullets being fired inside the museum?
01:00They, they're actually, uh, they didn't, if they did feel nervous, they didn't express it.
01:05They were very, they're very cool with it.
01:06Do you know Ron Howard, prime, only as a director, or did you know, like, that he was Opie on
01:11the Andy Griffith show,
01:12and he was Richie Cunningham?
01:14I mean, who doesn't know about Richie Cunningham?
01:16Okay, you do know that.
01:17Richie Cunningham, you know, do you know about Opie?
01:19Because Opie, he was a little boy. He's maybe the cutest child actor of all time, Ron Howard.
01:24I mean, no kidding around. You've got to see that if you haven't.
01:28He is. I will, I will go back and look through. He's still pretty cute.
01:31Tom Hanks is notoriously difficult to work with.
01:33Was it intimidating, uh, being with him?
01:38It's, it's really hard work. It's really, really hard work.
01:42Yeah, he's a tough one. He really is.
01:43Yeah, really tough. Such a diva.
01:45You guys had a car, you had a car chasing.
01:48Was that the first car chasing you've ever had in your, your career?
01:51It was. It was my first time, um, driving an A-list movie star and nearly killing them.
01:59Are you really driving in, in those scenes?
02:01Yes, so I'm, I'm, uh, Sienna, the character I play is, is at the wheel.
02:06And then, um, Mr. Tom Hanks was sitting next to me.
02:09And I, I had a, had to come out of this, uh, parking lot, uh, as you say in America.
02:14Yes. What do you guys call it?
02:16We just call it a car park.
02:17Car park?
02:18Yeah.
02:19Oh, ours is better.
02:28Sorry, I told you I was dumb at the beginning of the interview, so.
02:32No, I'm not going to defend car park. I'm just not.
02:35So anyway, yes.
02:37So, so then we were coming out and it was quite a sharp corner and, and the, the Italian streets
02:41are pretty, pretty tiny.
02:42And for some reason, my character had the most enormous car they could find.
02:47Uh, and so just as I was very kind of coolly trying to turn this corner and I was saying
02:53a line as I was turning it,
02:55I, I basically bashed the entire side of Tom's car.
02:59Oh.
03:00Of, of the car with Tom in the side into the wall.
03:03Oh, boy.
03:03Uh, yeah, and it was nearly sort of, um, game over.
03:06But luckily he was very cool.
03:08Do they make you pay for that when you do that or does that come out of your check?
03:11How does that go?
03:12Yeah, they, I mean, they did say that was it.
03:14You know, you're going to, that's it, job's over.
03:16You're going back to England.
