00:06I got a call from the Dean of Admissions asking if you were to get in to Harvard, would you
00:11accept?
00:12And I said yes, because I knew my mom would kill me if I said anything else.
00:17The first few weeks I made some of my best friends, but two of us were sexually assaulted before classes
00:23had even started.
00:25I went to the Dean of Students office and she said, I just want to make sure that you don't
00:31talk to anyone about this.
00:33They protect perpetrators because they have a financial incentive to do so.
00:39The problem of sexual assault on campus is enormous.
00:41I think it's fair to say that they cover these crimes up.
00:45There's a lot of victim blaming.
00:46He lectured us about how we shouldn't go out in short skirts.
00:50They told me despite the fact that I had a written admission of guilt for that,
00:54that I presented to them could only prove that he loved me.
00:57They discouraged them from going to the police.
00:59If it goes to the police, then it's more likely to end up as a public record.
01:03Universities are protecting a brand.
01:05Campus police cannot contact an athlete.
01:08He won the Heisman Trophy with his DNA rape kit.
01:11Just sit down with the students and ask them, where are the hot spots?
01:14SAE, sexual assault expected.
01:16The second most common type of insurance claim against the paternity industry is for rape.
01:21Her rapist's name matched the name of two other cases, and he was allowed back on campus.
01:26The message is clear, you're not going to win.
01:30We started seeing, you know, what was happening at campuses across the country.
01:34Hi.
01:34Hi.
01:35Hi, has no one connected the dots before?
01:38These students went from sexual assault victims to survivors and now activists.
01:44My name is Carolyn Luby.
01:45My name is Alexa Schwartz.
01:47My name is Ari Mostov.
01:49This is a national problem.
01:51We are set off!
01:53I was getting threatened.
01:55It was working in their favor to silence me, and I was terrified.
01:58I thought if I told them, they would take action, but the only action they took was against me.
02:03We've got a lot further to go.
02:05Now let's quit on dates.
02:05This is a national problem.
02:06Our mission is to kill people
02:06놀 one of three!
02:08Bye!
02:08We'll see you next time!
02:08See you next time!
