00:05Tell me, Nostradamus,
00:07what have you seen?
00:09What have your visions shown you?
00:14I've had fleeting images
00:15but as yet their meaning is unclear.
00:19Be patient. Answers will come.
00:28I don't know if I'm ready.
00:30To leave here or marry the future king of France?
00:34Both.
00:35Mary, you are the Queen of Scotland.
00:39You will wed young Francis for your faith,
00:42for your people.
00:43He will love you.
00:45I'm not sure that matters.
00:50Sebastian.
00:51Francis.
00:52I've been looking for you everywhere.
00:53I just have to find you.
00:54I was riding.
00:56Really?
00:57Who?
01:01She's on her way.
01:03It's the perfect occasion to showcase the alliance with Scotland.
01:06I've chosen my wife. Have you set the date too?
01:09It is the date when I say so.
01:12Let him talk like a king.
01:13Your wedding won't happen until I say so.
01:21There's Mary.
01:26That's the king.
01:28That's King Henry but is that Catherine?
01:31That's the king's mistress.
01:38Is that Francis?
01:40He's gorgeous.
01:43Your grace.
01:48Make no mistake.
01:49We're here now to get our young queen in the game.
01:53Alliances can shift.
01:54Before they do,
01:55Mary needs to win the prince's heart.
02:03You've had a vision.
02:05It's clear now.
02:07I saw your son's future.
02:09His union with Mary.
02:11She will cost Francis his life.
02:16Be careful.
02:17There are ghosts there.
02:19How do I control a daughter-in-law who's a queen in her own right?
02:25Mary and I are engaged.
02:27That's your duty.
02:28Not your heart.
02:30Spend this time with me.
02:34It's been so hard.
02:36You're not alone here.
02:37I have my friends.
02:38I am not talking about your friends.
02:44We're engaged.
02:45But you have no intention of marrying me.
02:48All engagements really do is hold alliances.
02:51We need Scotland.
02:52What matters is what's right for my country.
02:58Taste of love and sorrow.
03:00But don't drink the wine.
03:02Why?
03:06What is it? What's happening?
03:08This was an assassination attempt.
03:09England turns its sword in our direction.
03:12Do not leave the castle alone.
03:24Love is irrelevant to people like us.
03:26We are golden.
03:29Take care or you will bleed.
03:34You are not the only one with a country to think of.
03:40Right now an alliance with Scotland could destroy France.
03:43Can't you see what's at stake here?
03:47Anyone who's close to you lives in constant danger.
03:51If you stay by me I will protect you.
03:54I promise.
03:57Reign.
