Kevin will travel the length and breadth of the country to uncover the stories behind some of Britain’s most remarkable buildings and structures, exploring why places as diverse as Coventry Cathedral and the Penguin Pool at London Zoo have been judged worthy of the highest level of protection.

This is heritage with the doors thrown open, as Kevin is invited into parts of these structures the public never normally sees, as he meets the people who care for them and gets hands-on himself.

00:08They're protected. The thing is, who rewrites our history? Who decides which bits of our heritage we
00:15keep and which bits we demolish and destroy? And how do we, as communities and individuals,
00:22fight to champion and preserve the things we love? In a world where, if we don't,
00:31the likelihood is it will probably disappear. Kevin MacLeod's Listed Britain on Moor 4. Coming soon.
