The group claimed there were inconsistencies involving the elephants’ classification, the approval process and the handling of funds allegedly linked to the transfer to Tennoji Zoo in Japan.

00:29Where do you have the right to do this?
00:30This is a penalty, you are not able to do our right.
00:36You don't have the right to do it.
00:38First of all, what we want to say is
00:42a restriction or a right to go to lobby.
00:46We want to sit there, and a group of people
00:50from our friends, who have a proof of evidence.
00:54They want to go to lobby.
00:55They say that we have the right to allow you to enter.
00:58We don't agree.
00:59They want us to be a violation.
01:02Where they just read the section.
01:06How can they do it?
01:08We, as a rakyat, have the right to go to lobby.
01:13This SPRM, Suruhanjaya Penjagaan Rasuah Malaysia.
01:16They don't want to layan us as a group.
01:18Not many, but less than ten.
01:22We talk to them.
01:25We insist that we are really right to enter.
01:27They still don't want to.
01:28So, we don't have to accept.
01:31And it should not be happening.
01:33As a institution, they don't have to do it.
01:36They can't do it like this.
01:37Can you explain what the report is?
01:40What the report is that?
01:41So, on this day, actually, the report that will be filed is
01:46for the three figures that have been moved to the Tenoji Zoo.
01:50There is a question that has happened.
01:52Based on the facts that have been put in the past.
01:56The figures that have been moved in the same way.
02:01And so on.
02:02Now, in relation to the corruption report that we wanted to file,
02:06which we have been stopped by MECC from filing,
02:09which stopped all of us from going in.
02:11Now, this is in relation to the suspected corruption
02:13involving the sending of the three elephants.
02:16We believe that there has been payment made by Japan to Malaysia.
02:22But we believe that the payment has not been accepted
02:26or gone into the coffers of the Malaysian government,
02:29but rather has gone into the pockets of Malaysian citizens.
02:32We cannot name the Malaysian citizens that we suspect now,
02:36because that is for the MECC to investigate.
02:40And in our report to MECC, we have named all the individuals
02:43that we want investigated.
02:45What is the amount?
02:47What is the amount?
02:48Okay, I have been informed by my whistleblower
02:50that the amount that was received was approximately USD 13 million.
02:56That is RM 50 to 51 million at the point of the exchange rate
03:01at that point of time, which was 4 point something.
03:03Now, we demand that the police report that we did,
03:08we demand that the police investigate.
03:09We have asked the police to investigate Periletan
03:11because Periletan is the culprit.
03:13They are the ones who allowed, who gave the kelulusan
03:15for the elephants to be sent to Japan.
03:18And the Minister, the Minister of Natural Resources,
03:20at that time was Nick Nazmi.
03:21Nick Nazmi also allowed the elephants to be sent.
03:24So he must also be investigated.
03:26And then the Taiping Zoo, the director of Taiping Zoo,
03:30then the Adon, then the medical officers, the veterinary officers who signed,
03:34all of them must be investigated.
03:36How is it that this was allowed to happen?
03:38Because we are very, very confident that there are elements of corruption.
03:42Do you see the category of C or W?
03:44Oh, we believe that only wild elephants, sorry, wild elephants cannot be sent abroad.
03:49Only captive elephants.
03:50And here we have documentary proof that these are wild elephants.
03:53And yet there seems to be a fake paper trail leading from Kuala Gandah to Taiping
03:58and then from Taiping to Tenojizu.
04:01Everything does not add up.
04:03Which is why we want the authorities to investigate.
04:05So, hari ni, selamat pagi semua.
04:08Hari ni kita semua berada dekat depan HQMACC
04:11untuk buat laporan polis berkenaan dengan dokumen yang diberikan
04:17kepada pihak peker beberapa minggu lepas.
04:40To dekat Osaka, sorry.
04:42So, do you wanna...
04:44So, apa?
05:30Tidak benarkan rakyat masuk.
05:32Kenapa dihadkan kepada dua orang sahaja?
05:34Kenapa semua orang lain tak boleh masuk?
05:35Ini bangunan kerajaan, bangunan rakyat.
05:37Terima kasih.
05:37Terima kasih.
05:41Terima kasih.
05:44Terima kasih.
05:44Terima kasih.
05:45Terima kasih.
