00:00This wonderful card has been sent in with lots of love and kisses from all of your family and friends
00:05and they hope you have a really beautiful birthday.
00:08Keep on sending those cards in nice and early.
00:12You know where to send them, the usual CBeebies address.
00:15And if you are celebrating, I hope you get to eat lots of yummy cake.
00:34There is a place not far from here, I'm sure you know it, it's ever so near.
00:44Come down the path and you will see a little gate to Mr Bloom's nursery.
00:55Hello.
00:57This is my allotment, there's such a lot to see.
01:01With my compostarium, there is no place I'd rather be.
01:06Have you been here before or not?
01:08Let me show you what I've got.
01:10A spade, a fork, a wheelbarrow, a cabbage, one of beans, tomatoes and a marrow.
01:15A watering can, a trowel, some seeds, radish, lettuce, a couple of weeds.
01:20With my bed and plants, I can sing and dance.
01:24See them sprout, watch them grow, hop along and say hello.
01:29There's so much they can teach us all.
01:31We'll laugh and learn, we'll have a bow.
01:34It's such a special place to be in my veggie nursery.
01:46I'm so excited.
01:48Me too.
01:50The tiddlers will be here to play soon.
01:52You'll tell us when, won't you, compo?
01:57Oh yes, the tiddlers are coming too.
02:00What?
02:00You mean you were excited about something else, Margaret?
02:03Oh yes.
02:05Today is the day my magazine arrives.
02:09Magazine?
02:10What magazine?
02:11It's my space magazine.
02:14Everything a little cabbage needs to know about going to the moon.
02:22But isn't the moon a long way away?
02:25Yes, but the big problem is that it only comes out at night.
02:31Oh.
02:32But can't you go to the moon at night time?
02:34No, because at night I like to have my sleep.
02:40Oh yes, me too.
02:42I love my sleeps.
02:44Be all snuggly in my bed.
02:47And when I wake up, the moon has gone and the sun is back in the sky.
02:53Oh, maybe you could do sleeps in the day and be awake at night to go to the moon.
03:02Oh look, I think the Wee McGregors have had the same idea.
03:10I suppose it's worth a try.
03:16Oh, compo, shh, Margaret's trying to sleep.
03:21I'm far too excited to sleep.
03:23The tiddlers are here.
03:25Oh yeah.
03:27Oh, hey old tiddlers.
03:29Who have we got today?
03:30We've got Tiber, Lewis and Keres.
03:33How are you all doing?
03:33You all right?
03:34Yeah.
03:35Oh, that's good.
03:36Well, now we all know that my nursery is full of lovely vegetables, don't we?
03:40Yeah.
03:41But it's full of other things too.
03:42Things like creepy crawlies.
03:46Now what type of creepy crawlies do you think you might find in my nursery?
03:50Spiders.
03:52Spiders.
03:52What did you say?
03:54Worms.
03:54Worms, Lewis, yeah.
03:56Do you want to see my impression of a wiggly worm?
03:58Yeah.
03:59All right, here he comes.
04:00Oh, here's my wiggly worm.
04:02He's wiggling along, wiggling along.
04:04Can you do a wiggly worm with your finger?
04:06There they are.
04:07Yay!
04:08I'm doing it with my thumb.
04:09You've got a wiggly thumb?
04:10All right, tiddlers.
04:11Well, that's enough pretending to be worms.
04:13I think we should find some real worms.
04:16What about you?
04:16Yeah!
04:17All right.
04:18Well, look, this looks like a great spot for worms to live,
04:21so I think we should try to dig up some wigglers.
04:24Yeah!
04:29Anybody found a worm yet?
04:30No.
04:31Because wigglers are fast.
04:33Look what I found!
04:34A worm!
04:35A worm!
04:35A wiggly worm!
04:36Oh, look, can you see him wiggling?
04:38Yes!
04:40Keep digging!
04:44Whoa!
04:45A big one!
04:45Wow, that's a big one!
04:47What do you think we'd call that big worm, Kerris?
04:49Wiggler!
04:50He's going wiggle-tastic!
04:52Right, Lewis, now this one is very wiggly.
04:55Are you ready?
04:56Yeah.
04:57What does he feel like in your hand, Lewis?
04:59Tickling!
05:00Does he feel tickling?
05:02Well, I'll tell you what, let's put these wigglers back in the ground.
05:05We'd better say goodbye.
05:06Goodbye, Missy Wiggler!
05:08Now, tiddlers, can any of you tell me what job a wiggly worm does in the garden?
05:15Yes, Kerris?
05:16Make compost!
05:17Oh, that's a brilliant answer!
05:20Worms look after the soil and help to feed it, and some worms work in compost heaps.
05:26Hey, would you lot like to see some worms making compost?
05:30Yeah!
05:31All right, then, well, follow me.
05:33We're going to the compostarium.
05:35Come on!
05:36Yay!
05:40Right, then, tiddlers, hop up and take a look.
05:45Oh, and here are my worms.
05:48Wow!
05:50Yeah, now these worms...
05:52Yeah.
05:53...they're wiggling around in there.
05:55They're making a special mixture called compost, which is really good for feeding soil.
06:00And can you see what they're wiggling around in?
06:02Yeah.
06:03Yeah.
06:03What is it?
06:05Food.
06:06Food!
06:06And grass.
06:07Orange peels.
06:09Peels and corn.
06:10Oh, and corn.
06:11And would you like to eat all that rubbish tiddlers?
06:13No!
06:15No!
06:15It would be very nice, would it?
06:17And what do you think the worms are doing with all this rubbish?
06:20Making it into compost.
06:22How are they making it into compost?
06:25They're wiggling around.
06:26Wiggling.
06:26Oh, they're wiggling around in it.
06:28And biting it.
06:29Get all the mixture and then spin it out into compost.
06:33That's right, Kerris.
06:34Those wiggly worms, they're eating it, aren't they?
06:38And in their tummies, they turn it into fantastic compost, which is brilliant for helping plants grow.
06:44In fact, there's some compost that Compo made earlier.
06:47I'll show you.
06:50Here we go.
06:52Here's some Compo made earlier on.
06:54Look at that lovely compost.
06:58What do you think of that?
06:59Is that amazing?
06:59Yeah.
07:00Ha-ha!
07:02Oh, I see.
07:05That's not like someone's still hungry.
07:07Come on.
07:08I think it's feeding time.
07:11Follow me.
07:12Come on.
07:14Grass and weeds and leaves from trees.
07:17Thistles that prickle, petals that tickle.
07:19Brown stuff, green stuff, sticky stuff.
07:21Icky stuff, crunchy bits, munchy bits.
07:23Snappy bits, sappy bits.
07:24Yesterday's yums.
07:26Chopping board crumbs.
07:27It's not fuzzy what's in.
07:28It's Tom.
07:29My awesome compost area.
07:33Here's Tom.
07:35Hooray!
07:39Stand back, tiddlers.
07:41Here he goes.
08:09Right, tiddlers.
08:10Shall we go and meet the veggies?
08:12Yeah!
08:13Come on.
08:16Meet the veggies.
08:18We're the veggies.
08:20They grow here in my nursery.
08:22Meet the veggies.
08:24We're the veggies.
08:25We're the veggies.
08:26Now, who've we got today?
08:27Let's see.
08:28There's Margaret the cabbage.
08:30Peep-o.
08:31Raymond the squash.
08:32I love cuddles, you know.
08:33And Sebastian's a singing aubergine.
08:36La, la, la, la.
08:38Me, me, me, me, me, me.
08:39Nice.
08:40Meet the veggies.
08:42We're the veggies.
08:43Oh, they grow here in my nursery.
08:46Meet the veggies.
08:47We're the veggies.
08:49And that's not all.
08:51Oh, no siree.
08:52There's Colin the runner-by.
08:53Thanks, baby.
08:55The Wee-McGregor's so cheeky.
08:57And I'm a beautiful little cub, Joan.
09:00Hello, my dear.
09:02Haven't you grown?
09:13Oh, don't forget the onions, potatoes and peas.
09:17Because we provide the harmonies.
09:21Meet the veggies.
09:23We're the veggies.
09:24Oh, they grow here in my nursery.
09:27Meet the veggies.
09:28We're the veggies.
09:30And we love Mr. Bloom.
09:32That's me.
09:37Five, four, three, two, one.
09:42Blast off.
09:45Oh, hello, Margaret.
09:46Hello, Raymond.
09:47Hello, Mr. Bloom.
09:48Hello, Tiddlers.
09:49Hello, Tiddlers.
09:51I'm zooming off to the moon.
09:53Hey, that must mean you're the first cabbage in space.
09:57Oh, no.
09:58There's already been a cabbage in space.
10:01Yes, it's in my magazine.
10:03Raymond was reading it to me.
10:05But I can't read her name very well.
10:08Oh, well, let's have a look, shall we?
10:11Wow.
10:13Valentina Cabbagey Cove-er.
10:15Oh, so you want to be like her, do you, Margaret?
10:19Yes, I do.
10:21Zoom into the moon and the stars.
10:24Whoosh.
10:25Well, maybe we could help you be a space cabbage, Margaret.
10:31What do you think, Tiddlers?
10:33Yeah!
10:36Oh, sounds like Compo wants to help, too.
10:40We'll be back in a more, Margaret.
10:42Come on.
10:46Wow.
10:47Look at all these things.
10:48Thank you very much, Compo.
10:50Oh.
10:51Hey, can you hold that for me, Lewis?
10:53And, oh, you take that for me, Kerris.
10:56Who can tell me what this is?
10:57Silver foil.
10:59Silver foil.
11:00You're right, Tiber.
11:01And, oh, it's lovely shiny paper, isn't it?
11:04And stickers.
11:05And some stickers, too.
11:07I reckon we could make Margaret a lovely starry surprise.
11:11That would be brilliant, wouldn't it?
11:12Yeah.
11:19What are they going to make?
11:21I don't know.
11:24Hey, good one.
11:28Tiber is cutting.
11:34And Kerris is sticking.
11:36I don't know what it is.
11:38But what are they making, Raymond?
11:40Erm, well, it's something shiny.
11:43Well, it's...
11:44It's a shiny something.
11:47Erm...
11:47Stars!
11:48I love them.
11:50They're super shiny.
11:52Yeah, super shiny stars.
11:54Right, let's get this tidied up.
11:56We don't need these bits of paper anymore, do we?
11:59Oh, they're rubbish.
12:03Shall we put these up on the wall?
12:05Yeah.
12:05Come on, then.
12:07Let's take that one, Lewis.
12:08Yeah.
12:10This is brilliant stuff.

12:28Ho-ho!
12:29This cabbage is so exciting, Mr Bloom.
12:32Hmm.
12:33I wonder what else I'd find in space.
12:35Ooh!
12:36What do you think, Lewis?
12:38The moon.
12:39The moon?
12:40The moon.
12:42Shall we do Jupiter or Saturn?
12:44Oh, Saturn!
12:45That's a lovely planet, hasn't it?
12:47It's got all those rings.
12:48Ho-ho!
12:49And I tell you what, we could use the paint for this, couldn't we?
12:52Come on.
12:53Back to the make table.
12:55Ho-ho!
12:56Ho-ho!
12:57More making!
13:01That was lucky.
13:03Ho-ho!
13:03It was just enough paint left for us before it ran out.
13:06Here we go.
13:07Move that along there for you tiddlers.
13:08Now, we won't be needing this anymore, so that's rubbish too.
13:26Ho-ho!

13:28Ho-ho!
13:29Ho-ho!
13:31Now they've got the paint bottle.

13:37Ho-ho!
13:37They're a bit like the wiggly worms outside, aren't they?
13:40They're like rubbish too.
13:42But I don't know what they'd turn that rubbish into.
13:45Hmm.
13:45Anyway.
13:46Come on, tiddlers.
13:47Let's paint some planets.
13:57What's Lewis doing?
13:59Lewis is using that silver foil and he's scrunching it round the ball.
14:08They're painting a ring.
14:10Oh!

14:48Well, now all you need is a rocket.
14:51Ha-ha!
14:51Ha-ha!
