00:00Soon after they relinquished their grip on Cuba and Guam, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico,
00:06and they were all ours. They all, we got them all. And speaking of Cuba,
00:13after many, many decades, it's coming our way. Coming our way.
00:22But for his actions that day, TR was celebrated as a hero
00:26and eventually awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. That's a big deal.
00:32And I'm thrilled to announce that just moments ago, 128 years after the Battle of San Juan Heights,
00:41it was my really great privilege to deliver his library and a very special gift. In fact,
00:51I gave it to Doug and the president, a man who did such a good job in helping to build
00:57it.
00:57Doug raised a lot of money, got a president to be out here all day instead of 15 minutes.
01:03And I gave that medal. I took it off. We have a beautiful room,
01:07the Roosevelt Room. This Roosevelt, by the way. And I took it off the wall,
01:13brought it over, and we just presented it. It's going to be in your library now for a long, long
01:18time.
