00:00You know the saying, one person's trash is another person's treasure?
00:04Well, I don't think that is supposed to be taken literally.
00:08A New York City artist has sold out of more than 1,300 tiny plastic cubes filled with
00:12actual garbage he collected outside of Madison Square Garden on the wedding day of Taylor Swift
00:17and Travis Kelsey. And they were not cheap. Each cube sold for $25 plus $10 for shipping.
00:23Okay, 35 bucks doesn't exactly break the bank. But again, let me remind you, this is trash.
00:30Off of a New York City street. The collection included cigarette butts, straws, bottle caps,
00:35a ring pop, an air pod, and yeah, even a discarded ovulation test. The artist called the collection
00:41the not invited edition, promising buyers they could own a piece of Taylor adjacent history.
00:47Again, this is not even trash from inside of the wedding. This is trash from the street
00:54of New York City. Each cube was hand arranged and sealed so it wouldn't leak or smell and signed
01:01on the bottom. Believe it or not, buyers from 30 countries snapped them up. And this isn't even
01:07this guy's first trash collection. This dude has been selling commemorative New York City garbage
01:12since 2001, including cubes filled with litter from Yankees and Giants championship parades.
