00:05Earth, life has gone on for millions and millions of years, but suddenly, without warning, objects from beyond strike our
00:14planet, creating cataclysmic events that wipe out entire species.
00:19Were these just random accidents or part of a bigger plan? Were we forewarned of these catastrophes by ancient prophecy?
00:27And did these warnings come from beyond our planet?
00:31Cryptic remains offer new clues to a highly intelligent civilization. They tell a story of innovation, wisdom, and acorns.
00:39So prepare to take an interstellar journey and begin to uncover the magic and the mysteries of the Skratazons.
00:50Weaseled my way out of that one.
00:52Well, we meet up with Buck, who is the sort of hero, weasel, protector of the lost world of the
00:57dinosaurs.
00:59And he ends up stumbling into this ruin.
01:02Almost like a Mayan temple that's been there for centuries, for maybe millions of years.
01:07And there is where he finds this obelisk.
01:11This tablet probably hasn't been seen in thousands of years until Buck finds it, so it's a really special moment.
01:17He's very curious. He kind of approaches with caution because he doesn't know what this is.
01:22The obelisk is this three-sided sculpture, and on it are these carvings.
01:27Much like images from a comic book, and, you know, some of the images show past events where an asteroid
01:33would take out the dinosaurs,
01:34and before that took out the trilobites, and Buck sees one that shows an asteroid about to wipe out the
01:41mammals.
01:42The obelisk is really a prophecy.
01:44Left on Earth as a warning.
01:47That immediately sets the alarm bells ringing for him because he's got to go warn his friends.
01:50Our research has led us to believe that this obelisk has come from an advanced, highly intelligent civilization
01:57that's been around for probably thousands, maybe millions of years, the Scratazons.
02:03The Scratazons were a race of enormous female Amazon Scrats.
02:10So the temple sculptures tell us that the Scratazons are tall, slender, bipedal, highly evolved version of the Scrat.
02:19Except they were prettier.
02:20So they've got the long nose, the teeth, the fur, they've got large eyes.
02:25Based on our research, we think the back teeth were used to crack the hard shell of the acorn.
02:29And then the front teeth probably were to attract males.
02:33They communicate via telepathy with antennas.
02:37They clearly had a sense of humor because they giggled.
02:40The Scratazons were very fashionable.
02:42They had accessories, and one of these accessories was the staff that they had.
02:46Very elegant, very beautiful, helped them walk, it helped them move.
02:49The staff is multipurpose. It can act as a laser.
02:53That could just cut you down at the knees.
02:56They have a tractor beam to pull things in towards them.
03:01Well, it's been told that the Scratazons, millions of years ago,
03:04came to Earth and discovered these enormous oak trees and just an abundance of acorns.
03:09And they started harvesting these acorns.
03:12And they would come back to Earth, harvest the acorns, and take them back up to their planet.
03:17This was a delicacy for them, and they clearly had a highly evolved palette.
03:22And then an asteroid hit Earth, and everything was destroyed.
03:26And when they came down and they saw that, they were devastated,
03:28and they realized that periodically, or every few million years or so, an asteroid would hit Earth.
03:35They don't want to lose all the acorns on Earth.
03:37They had a whole plan. They left the obelisk.
03:40And the Scratazons also left the spaceship so that whatever living creature may find it,
03:45that they would collect the precious acorns, load it up, and escape Earth before the next asteroid comes.
03:51This spaceship is outfitted with a homing device that will allow the creature in the ship to find the mothership
03:57and lead it there, bringing the precious cargo, the acorns.
04:00The mothership was very state-of-the-art, very advanced technologically.
04:05It looked like a flying saucer, but then it actually opened up and morphed into what looks like a giant
04:11acorn.
04:13Do I think the Scratazons will return to Earth?
04:16Well, as long as we've got acorns on this planet, if you look up and see an asteroid coming our
04:22way...
04:23I think it's fair to say that they will probably return.
04:26The message of the obelisk is that history repeats itself.
04:29Clearly, the asteroid is repeating itself.
04:31So, is there something we can learn from the Scratazons?
04:34Yes, and it can be best exemplified by the message it left for us on the obelisk.
04:40And that is to take the ship and save your nuts.
04:53The moon boat.
05:03I have to find our way to live.
05:03The moon boat.
05:05The moon boat.
05:07The moon boat.
