00:00The Dance Moms cast have shared more than just their dancing skills over the years,
00:04with many opening up about their sexualities.
00:06Before coming out in 2021, Jojo Siwa threw out major hints of her queer identity.
00:11The dancer shared a post on her Instagram sporting a t-shirt saying,
00:14Best Gay Cousin Ever, quickly followed by a TikTok where she lip-synced Lady Gaga's Born This Way.
00:19A few days later, she posted a video saying how happy she is to be out and thanking everyone for
00:24supporting her.
00:25I have never, ever, ever been this happy before.
00:30Later in 2021, during an interview with People magazine,
00:34the then-17-year-old spoke more in-depth about her sexuality.
00:37But like, I don't know, bisexual, pansexual, queer, lesbian, gay, straight.
00:42I always just say gay because it just kind of covers it, or queer because I think the key word's
00:48cool.
00:48Fast forward to 2025, during a stint in the celebrity Big Brother House UK, Siwa came out as queer.
00:54I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian, but I think being here, I've realized, oh no, I'm not lesbian, I'm
00:59queer.
00:59And I think that's really cool.
01:01I'm switching letters!
01:02Dance Moms cast member Chloe Lukasiak 2 came out with a post on Instagram.
01:06In 2021, the star shared a photo of her and then-girlfriend Brooklyn Khoury and captioned it with a black
01:12heart.
01:12And then, for the first time in an interview with People magazine, Chloe spoke about her sexuality.
01:17It feels so good for people to just sort of know.
01:20I don't really think people owe the world an explanation anymore, she said.
01:24Chloe later spoke at the Dance Moms reunion, about how her mom had a difficult time with her coming out.
01:29I think she was just really worried for me, like the judgment I would face.
01:32But at the end of the day, that's their issue, that's not mine.
01:35Lennon Torres, who was the first AMAB contestant on Abby's Ultimate Dance competition,
01:40revealed on TikTok that she was transitioning in 2021.
01:43I'm transitioning. That means I'm transgender, if you guys know.
01:48My pronouns are they, she, which means that they or she.
01:51Later in 2022, Tora spoke about how her openness about her transition has helped others.
01:56They think the biggest standout on the positives of transitioning publicly and talking about it so publicly
02:02is also hearing the good that you're doing.
02:06Dance mom, Kaia Wiley, revealed to her fellow castmates that she had a wife.
02:10Yeah, my relationship ended because of dance.
02:12Oh, really? Lovely.
02:15Yeah, I've been in support.
02:16Dance. I've never been in a while.
02:18And Kaia's daughter, too, came out in 2021 with an IG post,
02:22holding hands with her girlfriend with the caption,
02:24Oh, and I'm gay. But are you surprised, though?
02:27The Dance Moms cast have been their true, authentic selves, both in real life and online,
02:31and we wish them all the love and support.
