00:03Hi guys, today we're joined by National Brand Ambassador for Buffalo Trace G.
00:08What have we got here?
00:08Well, we're going to do a little bit of a spin on a very popular cocktail, the espresso martini.
00:13We're going to spin it up a little bit with our Buffalo Trace Kentucky bourbon.
00:18I'm going to start with our Buffalo Trace bourbon.
00:20And for anyone making it at home, you don't have to have all this fancy equipment.
00:24It's just more about having the right kind of measurements.
00:27Okay, so bourbon in first, we've got then our bourbon cream.
00:31This is going to change the color as well slightly from a traditional espresso martini,
00:35which would be dark or black in color.
00:37Now, notice you've got your cold drip espresso there.
00:40So talk me through that.
00:41Or if someone is making it at home, is it cold drip you'd prefer?
00:44Or can we be making your own espresso?
00:46The cold drip also helps bring out some of the flavors of the bourbon,
00:50like vanilla and toffee and that sort of thing.
00:52So that's it.
00:53The other ingredient, I'm just going to pop in a little spoonful of sugar.
00:57I'm using agave, but you can use simple syrup.
01:00I'm going to drop some ice in there.
01:02You do need to give it a really good shake because you want that lovely little sort of crema.
01:08A little bit of equipment just to hold the ice in place and then strain our drink into a lovely
01:16little coupe.
01:16I brought some dark chocolate, salted caramel, but it doesn't exactly need to be that.
01:22A few coffee beans.
01:23One, two, three.
01:24Et voila.
01:25Kentucky espresso martini.
01:27Kentucky espresso martini.
