00:00I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 as my daily driver since it launched back
00:04in July and my fondness for it has only grown.
00:06It's not only the best foldable I've ever used, it's my favorite phone on the market.
00:09The folding functionality feels like a magic trick and the rest of the phone is similarly
00:13uncompromising. If I had to go and buy a new device tomorrow, I'd double down and get the
00:16Fold 7 all over again. So after four months with the Fold 7, here are three things you might be
00:19surprised to find it does better than the rest. 1. Streaming video
00:22I watch a lot of video content and in my opinion the Fold 7 is the best device for this
00:26outside
00:27of a Samsung OLED TV. Whether I have my hands full eating lunch, in which case I use the cover
00:31screen while the Fold 7 acts as its own stand, or I'm visiting my nan and I'm folding the device
00:36to the larger screen helps her better see whatever cute animal video I've saved for her. Fold 7 makes
00:40streaming video a better experience. 2. Reading
00:43I recently discovered an old collection of books and comics from years ago that I used to read on a
00:48tablet. Lately I've thoroughly enjoyed exploring these old stories in all their glory on the unfolded
00:52screen of the Fold 7. I've even added a few new titles to my collection and imagine I'll continue to
00:56do so. 3. On the road I recently hired a camper van for a road trip but it didn't have
01:01all the mod
01:01cons of the new car. Fortunately I was able to throw a Galaxy Fold 7 up on a car mount
01:05and it
01:05was an absolute game changer. Not only did the larger screen make it easier to figure out where
01:09we were going, it also allowed for multitasking which let the passenger take on the role of DJ
01:13without the map ever leaving the screen. The Fold 7 is unquestionably an envelope pushing device
01:17but after using four months I can say that would matter little if it didn't help you better engage with
01:21the content, people and places you care about. Fortunately it does!
01:24you
