00:06I'm going to try and crown a winner.
00:08So in terms of look, I'm going to give it to the New Balance 1906L
00:11because it's more of a traditional penny loafer in the Hoka.
00:14It has that cool outsole, the thick outsole,
00:17but it kind of does look like something that your grandma might wear,
00:20even though I do like the leather one-piece upper.
00:23And then in terms of construction and materials,
00:25I'm going to give that one to the Hoka
00:27because I really like the leather that they've used here.
00:29They're honestly super comfortable.
00:31Leather lining on the inside as well.
00:33The New Balance, I'm not sure that this big mesh Y2K metallic look
00:38is going to stick around for much longer.
00:40And it just has a sort of basic fabric lining.
00:42So it's not super comfortable on your foot.
00:44And then in terms of comfort,
00:46well, I only have to show you the difference in that midsole stack
00:48because look how much thicker it is on the Hoka.
00:51They kind of made this trend.
00:52It really does contribute to the comfort of the shoe.
00:54And these are by far the comfiest loafers
00:57that I've ever seen or put on my feet.
01:00I mean, look how much thicker the outsole is on this Hoka.
01:03And it also has Vibram.
01:04That's hiking stuff and that's cool.
01:06What about price and availability?
01:08Well, the 1906L is the OG.
01:10It kind of started this whole trend.
01:12It was really, really hard to get.
01:13You couldn't find it anywhere.
01:14On the other hand, the Hoka, I said it was more premium.
01:17It's also priced at a more premium price point.
01:20$280 for this one.
01:21So who wins the sneaker loafer?
01:24I'm going to give it to the 1906L.
01:26It's the OG.
01:27It's more affordable.
01:28I think it looks better
01:29with this more traditional penny loafer top on it.
01:32Even though the Hoka is more comfortable,
01:33the 1906L, I put some serious miles on this shoe
01:36overseas traveling and it's more than comfortable.
