00:06So welcome back to Monday Munchies and this week we are at the Chippo Hotel
00:10which is Australia's first 100% vegan pub to smash a pub lunch.
00:14So we're going classic pub lunch.
00:16Snitty, but vegan.
00:17And we've even got a little bit of a type of calamari
00:20which is made from a very special vegetable I'm going to explain once it arrives.
00:24So these are made from konjac which is a root vegetable.
00:27This is a real veggie.
00:29Let's give it a try.
00:32The tartare, outstanding.
00:33The tartare is so good.
00:35The calamari is like, it's getting there.
00:36It's pretty close.
00:37I would eat another bit but I'm going to get to the main menu.
00:40Oh shit, that looks like chicken.
00:41That straight up looks like chicken.

00:45It's damn good.
00:46Damn good vegan.
00:47I really did not think I could do it.
00:48I'm genuinely convinced by the schnitzel.
00:50I would not expect a big slab of vegan chicken schnitzel to taste this good.
00:55And if it were vegan I think you would find this very good.
