00:00So we know that companies cannot get enough of AI right now but Jaguar Land Rover or JLR as they
00:04prefer to be called has just employed this robot dog. So this particular dog is called Rover which
00:10is really cute and takes obviously from the Range Rover name and this could be working at the
00:14Coventry plant where they're making Range Rovers and it's going to work alongside engineers who
00:18will still be tasked with doing those engineering jobs like checking everything's running right when
00:22they're testing a car but this dog will be doing those small tasks like opening doors making sure
00:27that all the machinery is running right and that everything is nice and secure and it's going to
00:31do so with a bunch of sensors. This thing can even go back to its kennel yes as a purposeful
00:36kennel
00:37and then charge itself. So this robot dog is going to help fast track JLR's electric goals. They want
00:42to be electrified in every one of their model lines but it's going to help fast track brands like
00:46Jaguar which is being reimagined as a modern luxury brand. They're going only electric from now on.
00:52The first car is going to be a four-door GT priced around 100,000 pounds. This little robot dog
00:56will
00:57hopefully make these things happen.
