When it comes to glitter polish, removal is no easy feat. We've gone the DIY route before, but, of course, we're all about #lazygirlbeauty. So, when we came across an all-in-one kit that promises to turn this troublesome task into a total no-brainer, we jumped on it faster than you can say, "Beauty Test Lab." Our senior beauty editor Megan applied her favorite glittery polishes and gave it a go. Will she emerge sparkle-free and with clean nails? See for yourself, above.

00:07Hey guys, we're in the Beauty Test Lab today trying out this new glitter nail polish removal
00:12kit from Julep. So I've gone ahead and painted my nails with two of my favorite glitter polishes.
00:17Inside the kit are ten reusable kind of rubbery caps and there are also packets of the brand's
00:27small little nail polish remover wipes and these are finger sized and what you do is you take each of
00:34the wipes out,
00:35put them on your nail and then put the cap over top of the nail and it just presses down
00:40almost like it's suctioned onto your finger.
00:43And you just hold it there for about three to five minutes. I'm going to do one on each finger
00:47so you can see how it did on both types of glitter polish.
00:50I will say there is a bit of tingling going on in my fingers right now which is what happens
00:56when you leave acetone on your
00:57skin so if you have very sensitive nails and or skin I don't recommend doing glitter polish because this is
01:03how you get it off.
01:04And that was really easy. It came right off. There was no harsh scrubbing or chipping away.
01:11I'm just doing some cleanup on the little specks that weren't there.
01:15This polish usually takes me five minutes to get off each finger because it is so full of glitter chunks
01:21so this is pretty cool.
01:22Let's go ahead and see how the other one did. Almost completely gone. The wipe's in here.
01:26But yeah, same thing. It just took it right off. There's a couple of little pieces left but those I
01:31just wipe away and my nail is clean.
01:33So what makes these work so well is these caps because they secure the nail polish remover pad to your
01:41finger.
01:42They allow the nail polish to seep in and break up the glitter.
01:45You can technically do the same thing with some aluminum wrap but if you're lazy like me and don't feel
01:51like messing around with Reynolds wrap, this is a pretty good option.
01:54Bye.
