00:10eye line is and their bridge is so narrow and it looks good on their face shape.

00:25My nose has been a consistent insecurity before I even knew, I guess, what insecurity really
00:35meant.
00:36It is the first thing that I see when I look in the mirror.
00:39This is not just a stroke of a brush or a lip injection or something like that.
00:44If this is what it takes to help you feel more confident in your own skin, then I'm

00:58My mom brought all of these pictures that she found.
01:04I said, do you have any pictures from the day that the dog bit off my nose, my left nostril?
01:09And she said, no, I didn't take any pictures.
01:12When I was two and a half, I was attacked by a dog.
01:15I had immediate surgery to reattach the nostril.
01:18And then for my 21st birthday, I had a reconstructive surgery.
01:23Now we're here again.
01:27I'm getting this surgery because I wasn't completely satisfied with the way that it went the last
01:37time.
01:38I just wanted to look the way that I envisioned that it could look.
01:45I think I was inspired by stories that I'd read on Refinery about women and fixed it whatever
01:52way they want to, whatever way they can.
01:54I have like a little butt.

02:01It may be petty and trivial to everyone around me looking in, but you can be a confident person

02:51When I smile, the tip looks to me bulbous and very rounded.

03:04What we need to do is we need to do something to build the tip up, meaning not out this

03:10but so that we have a tip defining point and more cartilage in this part of your nose down here.

03:16I don't see any reason why we wouldn't be able to use a normal cartilage from her ear.
03:20And she has great structural features, but the nose is too small for the rest of her face.
03:25Continuously reducing a nose nose after nose job is what creates more of a collapsed, pinchy, and upturned nose.
03:30It's going to really change the aesthetic balance of your face.
03:33You had this problem, you've been through some surgery, and unfortunately you're in a situation
03:37where you're just not happy.
03:39To hear another person say, I see it, I get it, makes me feel like I just felt really supported.
03:46But my hope is that third time's the charm.

04:06I just took half of a nausea pill because sometimes the anesthesia can make you feel really dizzy.

06:41It's so cold in the day.

06:44So, the cast is off.
06:47I knew that I wasn't going to be happy and I know that you're still super swollen and it
06:54doesn't look like it's going to, but there was still this overwhelming sense of disappointment.
07:00It takes up to six weeks, really, for all of the swelling to kind of subside.
07:04So, that's hard.
07:07That's hard because I feel great and I have to kind of just be patient now.
07:17And now it's kind of just like a healing and waiting game.
07:21Exactly one month ago, I got my nose job.
07:26Snacks.
07:27Snacks.
07:28And it feels really great.
07:31The whole experience has been really positive.
07:35I feel so happy and so confident and so content now.
07:40This has just been so freeing for me.
07:42Someone once told me that I was an insecure person with moments of security.
07:47And now I think I'm a secure person with moments of insecurity.
07:53I might have zits.
07:57At least my nose is cute.
07:59I think I still fixate on people's noses because that's just something that I do.
08:04I don't look at them and fixate on them with envy anymore.
08:08I look at them and I think, oh, that looks great, but mine does too.
