00:14casual dull hairstyle with this super easy starburst look that you can make with bobby pins.
00:20And all you need are three bobby pins. You take your first gold bobby pin
00:24and you just want to pop it right above the center of your ear.
00:30Just go ahead and slide it in. So the next step would be to take your second bobby pin
00:35and just cross it through the center of the first one to look like a lopsided plus sign.
00:45So now the last step is to take the third bobby pin and cross it through the last two. So
00:50it might just
00:51take a little bit of maneuvering but if you just wiggle it through the other two it should create
00:58the perfect star. So you can do more than one than I've done. You could do them all around your
01:03head
01:04with ponytails with different textures. So it's totally amazing and I totally recommend it.
01:11So I've gone ahead and painted these bobby pins with some nail polish at home but you can go ahead
01:16and pick up multi-colored bobby pins at a drugstore or any beauty supply store or online. So first we'll
01:22take one bobby pin. Next we will use another bobby pin of a different color to create an inverse triangle.
01:36Next you're going to keep doing that under the other bobby pins for the desired chevron effect.
01:52As the last step you'll take some hairspray to set in your hairstyle.
01:59And voila. So for someone who doesn't spend a lot of time on their hair this is a really fun

02:04way to switch things up. So I've been seeing this trend quite a bit on social media and it's a

02:10easy way to kind of jazz up your hair. This year going into 2017 I kind of was thinking I

02:15I've done the cuts I've done the colors but how can I like really make my hair a little bit

02:19but on a budget. So the first one we have is a pearl embellished bobby pin. And so I went
02:25to the local
02:25like just a craft store and I just glued a simple little pearl on a little bobby pin and I
02:31found
02:31the gold one. If you're not a pearl girl you can also find other embellishments. You know a lot of
02:35craft stores have like little gems, little diamonds, anything you want to make this personalized you
02:40can go for it. You want the wavy side down because that's the correct way. So I've just been adding
02:44them
02:44down and it kind of doesn't matter anywhere you go. It's all personal preference. When I'm getting to the
02:49end with the hair tie I actually like clustering a couple of them so it looks like a little bit
02:53of a brooch.
02:54So even though everything is looking really good I always like just adding a little extra spritz
02:58just to make sure everything's staying in place. And there you have it just an easy way to embellish
03:05your hair without breaking the bank. So as you can see bobby pins are the easiest way to dress up

03:10hairstyle these days. They're really affordable you can get them anywhere from a drugstore to your local
