00:20In Toy Story 3, you'll be happy to hear that nearly all of your favorite old toys are back.
00:25Buzz Light, your mission locks. I've crash landed on a strange planet.
00:30My name is Woody, and this is Andy's Room.
00:33Oh, I'm so glad you're not a dinosaur.
00:37All right, nobody look till I get my cork back in.
00:42But in addition, we've got a whole host of new toys.
00:46We literally have hundreds of new toys in Toy Story 3.
00:49One of the most elaborate and extensive casts we've had in any of our films.
00:52New toys!
00:54One of the main new characters in Toy Story 3 is this big, plush, pink, strawberry-scented teddy bear named
01:01Lotso Huggin' Bear.
01:02But he likes his friends to call him Lotso.
01:04One of the very early ideas that became Toy Story had a character of a teddy bear in it, but
01:09we couldn't find a place for him.
01:10So when we came up with Toy Story 3, we remembered this character Lotso and thought he would be perfect
01:14for Toy Story 3.
01:16Another fun new toy that we're introducing into the Toy Story world is named Stretch.
01:20She's a purple, glittery, rubber octopus who lives at Sunnyside Daycare.
01:25One of my favorite new characters in Toy Story 3 is Mr. Pricklepants.
01:28Mr. Pricklepants is a little stuffed hedgehog toy who's unique because he's British and he goes around wearing lederhosen.
01:36He fancies himself a Shakespearean actor.
01:38Excuse me, I'm trying to stay in character.
01:42Another new character that's near and dear to my heart is Trixie.
01:45Trixie is a triceratops toy and we designed her to look like she came from the same line of toys
01:51as Rex, the Tyrannosaurus.
01:53Then there's Buttercup.
01:54Buttercup is an adorable, sparkly, plush unicorn.
01:57We're also introducing a sarcastic ragdoll with the kind of obvious name of Dolly.
02:03What a great party!
02:04Well, as you know, Barbie made a very funny appearance in Toy Story 2.
02:08So we thought we'd bring her back for Toy Story 3.
02:10But this time, we thought we'd give her a little company.
02:16Ken is one of the funniest new characters in Toy Story 3.
02:19He's a very cool dude who has quite an extensive wardrobe.
02:22On three!
02:23One, three!
02:25Whoa!
02:25You know, I helped make the first Toy Story and Toy Story 2.
02:29So directing Toy Story 3 has really been a blast.
02:32It's like coming home again, working with these characters.
02:35We're getting thrown away!
02:36No, no one's getting thrown away!
02:37Come on, let's see how much we're going for an event.
02:40Really, the biggest challenge of making Toy Story 3 is to make a film as enjoyable and funny and full
02:46of heart as the first two films.
02:48This is no time to be hysterical.
02:49It's the perfect time to be hysterical.
02:51Should we be hysterical?
02:52I'm happy to say that Toy Story 3 has all of these things.
02:55At least I'm going to get played with!
03:01Oh, where's my nose?
03:02Here it is.
03:03Here's your arm.
03:03Give me that.
03:04That's mine.
03:05The mustache.
